Water, calmag, and related stuff

My plants are only a few days old, but I'm trying to plan a bit ahead.

One of the most common supplements that I hear discussed is calmag, so I'm wondering if I'm likely to need it. So far, I've been using distilled water, but I'm open to suggestions there. My soil is 50/50 FFOF and FFHF with perlite and Mykos for 2 of my plants, but I'm trying 100% FFOF with perlite and Mykos for the third one. I'm also using Recharge pretty heavily. Lights will be LED; HLG 260 for the first grow. I mention this because I read somewhere that using LED lights increases the need for calmag.

So far, I'm leaning towards using the FF trio once the soil nutes have been depleted, but I'm open to suggestion here also.

Lastly, if you think I'll need calmag, which brand do you recommend?

Why add happy frog to an already nutrient rich soil? Ocean forest shouldn't need anything added. You'll likely have to add a whole lineup of nutes come mid flower. The idea of growing in a nutrient rich organic soil is that you don't need to add anything but water. You've already complicated a simple process, problems lead to more problems. Better go pick out a nute line that you like, you'll need it at some point.

Thanks, yeah it occurred to me that I should have just used OF, so that's what I did for the third one.

Lose the distilled water.
Tap works just fine for soil.
Botanicare makes actual "CalMag", but a lot of us use General Hydroponics Calimagic due to it having a lower nitrogen amount.
Thanks, there's a lot of conflicting information out there, and I'm also a bit concerned that the tap water here isn't the best; it supposedly has high levels of a few nasty chemicals. However, the soil could be even more contaminated for all we know, so it's probably not worth worrying about.
