Room temps and RG are good
HAD small a root issue but its fixed
Copies came to lime green and a 3rd this size 7 days ago, so plants are growing decent and root zone is growing well now but lower leafs arw continuing to yellow more and more but are NOT brittle nor is the stem of leaf.

Running cal/mag at 150ppm because of using RO water and plants are drinking and eating and my ph/EC
levels have been stable.....

Have 6 16" ocilating fans (400sqft room) have 8 640w leds at 65%power and 4 630w cmh on during lights on....

Currently running sterile system

Should i add extra N?

Are you giving them too much Ca? Too much Ca can lock out all kinds of stuff.

I wouldn't think so only because they looked like this before i started the calmag
Hey buddy.... you obviously have a bit of a mess on your hands and my overall advice would be to stop using dwc because things go very wrong very quickly in dwc. I have personally tried in the past and had a high failure rate... also provably my biggest harvests too. Personally coco is easier, more forgiving and better flavour.

To the problem in hand...
From what I can see your new growth has burned tips and this leads me to say you are over feeding.

I guess you are seeing the aftermath of a root issue like you mentioned. Was there a period of normal growth? Or has it never been sorted?

Here is what I would do...

1 your ph is too high for dwc... I think it needs to be more like 5.6 (dwc expert to confirm)
2 use tap water not ro (tap should have all the calmag u need at this stage so don't use calmag
3 feed an ec of 1.2 with just the base grow nutrient
4 when mixing nutes... mix them at full strength and then water them down to the correct ec to make sure you have the correct balance. I would advise using the week 3 set up from the attached chart

Whats room temps and what light? (Be surprised how many people think its ok... but its too cold)

Hope this helps

There was normal growth at first (i thought) but have never really gottonnthe N deficiency under control yet right from the time i got them from the other fella.

My room stay at 77-80° during day and 68-70 at night. Alot of DWC guys have told me to stay between 5.8 and 6.0 on ph.

As far as tap water goes, mine is horrible. It's 380ppm and 7.5 ph out of the faucet, is that still ok?

The lower yellow leaves say nitrogen deficiency, the purpling stems say phosphorous deficiency, the twisted leaves say calcium deficiency or maybe even too much wind from your fans. That seems like a lot of fans and a lot of light for small plants. Check to make sure your bubblers are working and delivering enough oxygen to the nutrient solution.

Ill knockdown a few of the fansnand see what happens, the stems were purple as clones and are actually starting to green up but the leaves you're spot in with i think.

I would think so....

You don't have nitrogen def... its toxicity! The issue is your calmag has loads of nitrogen in it. Dont bother with it for the moment.

Remember that your yellow leaves will never go green again... you need to focus on the new growth... and your new growths at the top are showing toxicity and burned tips indicating your going in too hot on the nutes. This locks out ALL nutes.

Cut down the complications and give them a more mild mix

i found out the hard way that a soil additive i was using was cal mag based and said it didnt harm the plant but after not using it for 2 weeks the deep green went away and so did the yellowing of leaves. many people aren't taking into consideration that you should double check an additive because they usually add a little of everything and those little 1%-3% adds up after a while

Tonight im going to flush the system and get all water out, wipe buckets down (just for the hell of it) and refill with no extra calmag with my base veg nutes at 500ppm. Talking behind the scenes with another member whos been helping me greatly, he read deeper into my nute line and the grow HAS the cal mag IN it already!!! Ty for your help so far as well
