My point is just that starting a bunch of regs and not knowing how many will get trashed for 4-6 weeks (until they show sex) just isnt an option for me. To much work for the possibility of zero return. Could start 12 and get 0-2 females which would do me no good, then start 12 more and get the same thing. And by that time, there wont be enough of a growing season left. I start my girls when it starts getting cold outside and i can run the lights with no heat issues and they have to be done before it starts warming up.

I wasnt saying Bad Dawg has a "abnormally high ratio of males" at all. My point was that it is a complete gamble and gambling is best done at the casino, not the grow room. Maybe this summer ill dust off one of the cheap LED boards i got and see if i can find some females. Who knows.

Okay, I see your view there and am sexing 8 plants right now and maybe 3 out of the remaining 4 look promising, hoping my last LVTK x LBF goes girl. May have 2/2 Cherry Queen males.
I have had those thoughts of not investing hope and time and money into plants I feed my worms. More than once!

As far as money goes, good fem seeds dont exactly come cheap. But the time and effort really adds up. I need to be able to sprout 4 plants that i know will be females all at the same time to be able to do this....

and even at that, one ended up much smaller than the rest- crazy slow vegger. but now i know for the future and would start that plant 2-3 weeks before the rest.

My thoughts exactly! Lol!
I've ordered through GLG for, about, 5 years and get everything I expect from them! I have zero issues with waiting for the 'sometimes' slow(ish) shipments, getting awesome freebies, cool coozies, T-shirts and stickers I just started sticking on my ladders!
GLG, Drag Boat and Hound Dawg Deb have always been good to me! - Thank you for everything guys!

I started my adventure ordering seeds with the "what I consider curse word now" Attitude send bank lol... I think I will always use GLG going forward!
