extra mh or hps

Hi to you all
I am currently vegging under a 600w MH, all is good but need a few degrees more temp. I have a spare 250w ballast and bulbs .Thinking of adding some HPS to the mix or should I add the 250w MH. Any thoughts?

The 250w hps certainly won't do any harm plants respond well to it and you have the added heat, I'd expect a mixture of the two would be the best of both of worlds though unsure about the ratio, a 250w to a 600w can't be far off?

Just for context
I have a friend in Colorado and he grows a thousand plants per building and he uses the cheapest MH bulbs he can buy through entire grow
And it sells like fire

Ive been using MH all the life cycle of the plant and still get
Great bud density.

Also seem to get more frost but maybe it’s been too long and my eyes are fucked.

I don't want to start a which is best but there's a number of growers that reckon mh grows better quality weed than hps.
Also a number of people change to mh in the later stages, its got something to do with more resin or thc/cbd production?

Have you stuck with mh for any particular reason, just curious.

I've always stuck with daul spec hps in flower I've never tried mh.

Thanks that,s confirmed it for me. A fuller spectrum cant be bad.

Yea that’s what I hear too it’s to do with the UVB or something, not much is emitted but it’s more than HPS.

Ive only got 1 tent so I’ve gone the auto route and have plants in various stages of growth. From seedlings to mature plants.

MH also gives of less heat Ive found than duel spectrum HPS bulbs.

Hos will give you a bit more stretch.... but I like stretch these days.
