i dont understand why it is so hard for the average joe to grow a darn plant without issues at such an early stage? i think the answer is over thinking over feeding over watering and just all around messing with them the answer is simple start off with good genetics great soil and the correct lighting and atmosphere then their will be no "deficiencies" and or "nute burn" oh and dont forget good water lol i would toss them and restart the whole grow instead of adding this and that lol

even "good soils" can lack in ca/mag very early on... Normally i use FFOF and have no problem early but im using Coast of Main soil and they lack on ca/mag early on but otherwise is a very rich soil... also even great genetics sometimes are more demanding of ca/mag.... doesnt make them bad genetics.

ca/mag is a very easy thing to supplement and a very common deficiency and would be worth saving.

I agree, definitely worth saving. And yeah some great strains can be like hungry hungry hippos when it comes to feeding, others are like a baby in a high chair when you comin with a spoon making airplane and train sounds and they shut their mouth last second and slap the spoon out your hand like "bitch, I told you I wasn't hungry!" Lmao

Epsom Salts are natural and were first found in a saline spring in England. They are a high source of Mg.

Calcium can be derived from lime and eggshell compost.

Calcium chloride is natural as it is derived from limestone (semi sythetic tbh) think cocaine. it uses solvents to get the good stuff. Thats the case with getting the calcium chloride. it uses hydrochloric acid to get the salts from the limestone. So depending on how you think of it... its natural. But like i stated above you can just go the compost route before planting. and foliage feed Mg.

That's why I love me some blackstrap molasses. Organic and unsulphured.

Really good stuff. Supposed to be really healthy.

Full of Calcium and Magnesium, plus a bunch of other beneficial stuff.
Here's a snapshot of the minerals in 1 cup.
