I have organic nutrients on stand by. I won’t hesitate to use them!

Ya, and the roots need to breathe. It would work if you added some pumice, but why not add some peat moss then too. It's just not a good medium or we'd all be using it.

It was about a cups worth. Small amount. I put it back with the rest nothing wasted but a seed.
