Its been done with great results. also autos can deal with environmental stresses better. tNot bursting your bubble they're easy......

I come from foragers. Most are just yuppies claiming a skill. Look at how they dress. I wouldn't go into a thicket of thorns or burrs dresed that way. Once again. Know your fellow human.

Not my thing. And I hve no bubble. Humor me and ph some nute drip. Put it in the sun and PH again before trusting a site. Not possible as stealth in my experience. Stealth means hidden. Do not disturb or draw attention. And a drip res of 2- 3 weeks water. Pretty good size to hide. Please explain.

Beaver channels injure most of my outdoorsy friends a mile or so up the stream. I am like that Shelby guy on swamp loggers. Just not that insane yet. Chest deep mud and saw grass or thorns that would bleed the un prepared dry. My juvenile backyard. Not city raised. LOL.

fucking cool dude. Fly fishing was always a lot of fun... even when u didnt catch anything on a cast you were still digging up crawfish and shit. Thats a helluva fish too.

We blew the thread to hell. Apologies to the OP. Kinda intimate subject looked at from a very different place here. And the more complex my thoughts. The simplest solutions always prevail. Just trying to help out and share its simplicity when honestly understood at the basics.
Just one fish of too many. Find catch and release cruel now. Catch and eat, or don't cast. And I know You are not of my upbringing and understanding. Walk in hazardous hard trout streams are almost impossible to fish with flies. Live bait, grasshoppers or black crickets are best. Followed by aquatic s such as stone worms and nymphs. Tiny hooks and 2# test. Rip some lips as they say. Please share some insight with me.

Your length of day in summer is great for autos. The more light the better is what I've always heard.
But I've never grown them myself, other than a couple three early flower photos that didn't reveg in my short ass summer days. With 14 hours 7 minutes being my longest day of the year, anything planted June or later acts like an auto here.

they are the best way to go for a short growing season. start them off in cups and move outside once they get a big of size. hard to judge cause they vary in size. also transplanting them stunts their growth and they favor large pots for bigger buds.
pretty much plant a bunch in cups and move outside when its warm enough and let them finish.

they should do fine. back in the day when autos were a craze there was people claiming that 5 gal buckets and even larger pots produce huge colas. there was definitely diminishing returns using the largest pots. they like their root space.
btw i dont grow anymore but might this summer. made the effort of purchasing some beans and second batch is on the way. but i do know a few things which is why i gave up on it, just too much effort and stress just for some homegrown. you get out of it as much as you put into it.
basically just dont half ass it.

I would suggest 3 if you can water every few days. 3 gallon hole in stealth. All it should need.
And not in a pot. But I keep rootballs that stay in my holes for the most part. Point being it does not take massive roots for monster plants. Roots seek nutritional and hydration needs. Provide it in a proper manner and the roots don't spread far. 9'6" plants rootball.

You'd have to find a strain that can handle the humidity and temp fluctuations..that ain't easy. Ive thrown autos outside a few times and they always mold up in flower...id just grow some quick photos if I were you and dont use any organics..they attract too many critters. Dont worry about the deer or rabbits..they may grab a bite in veg but will leave em alone for the most part.

Thanks for the advice - I've never done autos in or out, photos are what I know so I think if I start a veg indoors for a bit I can move em out and pray for a decent season, I'll have to take a closer look for some hardy quick photos
