Cheap ferts man. Its where those elements are sourced and how available they are to the plant. Theres a reason its orchid food and not cannabis food. Now will it work? Sure. But would you reach your bodys full potential eating hungry man tv dinners and mc dicks? Nah.

ideally you flood and drain every 4 hours during lights on or 3x light on 1x lights off, they drink less at night

Those plants are way too small for that much feeding. I'd feed them once in the morning until they are bigger.

Hey im not saying it wont work.
I can drive a nail into a board with a wrench but its simply not the right tool.
Its def not all the same to the plant. Cheap nutes are generally lab manufactured elements created using other compounds and mixing them together creating a new compound. Or derived from cheap sources such as urea Better nutes source elements in their raw form and chelate them to become more avaliable to the plant. But like i said. Use miracle grow if ya want it WORKS but its not proper is all im sayin

You really don't know what you're talking about. Jacks gets their raw materials from the same sources that are in much of the expensive bottled nutrients. Do you think AN, GH, and the other big names have factories that manufacture the ingredients? There are a few big fertilizer manufacturers with factories making calcium nitrate, monopotassium phosphate, potassium nitrate, etc... and that's where most of the ingredients come from.Hey im not saying it wont work.

It doesn't matter what brand. The ingredients likely come from the same factories. All you're paying for with those "Expensive" nutes you think you need is fancy packaging and marketing. At the end of the day calcium nitrate is calcium nitrate. The plant doesn't care if comes in an inexpensive bag with the name Jacks on it or is diluted with water in a shiny bottle from AN for 10x the price.

Btw i dont use an or gh they are both poser companies selling their million bottles of garb. An is for noobs. So is 'jacks' tell you the truth ive never even heard of it and ive been growing in canada for almost 20years. Plus its orchid food.
You obv dont know what you are talking about because calcium nitrate can come in many forms and made many diff ways including in a lab. Do some research and learn yourself some before you make yourself look stupid again

Jacks uses chelated ingredients like those other expensive nutrients you speak of. But if you knew what you were talking about you'd know that. You sound like a nutrient salesman for some expensive nutrient company trying to use a failed argument to justify paying more for for the same stuff that comes in a bag of Jacks.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Jack's 321 program is an extremely popular line with great growers. It's manufactured by JR Peters Corp. which is a multimillion dollar annual earner. Simple quality ingredients.
Also just because you haven't heard of something doesn't mean it should be disregarded as a poor product. The original product the OP was using isn't the proper nutrient line for coco as was already pointed out. Jack's makes a product for hydro feeding.

You obviously know nothing regarding plant nutrition and how plants use nutrients. But if you want to waste your money on expensive bottles with shiny labels and cool sounding names then go right ahead.
