How to achieve higher yield

I also wanted to maximize my yelid this next grow, so I have switched to doing the things I mentioned in my first reply.
I set up semi-autonomous RDWC system, bought a huge dual hose AC, sealed the room, and am using a CO2 tank to enrich the environment.
I plan on scrogging, then adding a second trellis to support the nugs during flower.

Wow, your setup is next level. Also really impressed by your scrog method. The net is so low. Will try that maybe next time. You kind if need automated watering, I imagine reaching the back would be difficult. Unless you can get there from the sides.

Haha yeah that was a pain, you can actually see in the pic of the cannabis trunk, there is a clear hose.
I had those ran to each plant with drip rings so that I could just fill a 5g bucket up with nutrient water, throw a pump in, and it pumped my water to the plants.
At first I was using a funnel with PVC to reach the back but I got tired of that quick.
This next run I plan on raising the first screen a few more inches atleast above the "dirt" (im in hydro now so there is no dirt lol).
Thats the beauty of RDWC now, I can control, water, change nutrients and PH all from outside the tent for all my plants. I dont even have to open the zipper lol

I'm going to try this method of the drip rings, do you think I can get away with gravity fed, if I say hang a homer bucket 5ft should be good right?

Gravity might work for you, I can't remember off the top of my head if you used organics, but those might be more prone to clogging if you don't use pressurized lines.
If you go to a hydro store, or a gardening store, they usually have some really slick hose and tube attachments to make some good pressurized irrigation lines.
Depends on what kind of rings I suppose.
If you just put some 1/4" holes in a hose, gravity fed should definitely work.
But you run the chance of perlite clogging the holes

Pic of last grow before harvest in 3x3 and current grow after 1 week of flower. I used clones last round, they were longer after only 5 weeks of vegging. Current grow is from seeds. They are shorter and bushier but after almost 3 months, I didn't want to wait any longer before switching to flower.
I notice the stems show a lot of purple. Phosphorous is key to good yields and plants lacking phosphorous often have purple stems. Might want to bump up the phosphorous next round and perhaps even a little extra in mid flower.

For me its all about how much time I want to invest in a single run, (110 days max). So in that case it should be all about plant count, and nothing more. I'll give you a simple example... say I have a 5 x 5 area and I was to run a 4 plant organic soil SOG setup, it would take nearly 3 months before I could realistically fill the entire area before I could flip them, which would end up running 150 - 165 days. But the result would be huge, 42 - 46 zips. But for me that is way to much time to tie an area up. And I can get pretty much the same result running 9 plants in that same space, using a single top method with no other training, veg them for 42 days, and be done with them in under 110 days ending with at least the same result as my 4 plant SOG example, but really, it usually results in 8 - 10 more zips that way! And that allows for 3 and some grows a year in that space, which results in that space pulling 3 or more pounds than the SOG way of doing things each year!

Yes sog is one of the best ways to produce lots of buds.
Going from clone is really, really good becuase it can produce a perfect canopy since all the plants will grow the exact same.
Problem is most people (anyone?) cannot legally grow that many plants, otherwise I feel like this would be more popular method.

Yea, I live in california and the legal limit is 6 and I kind of want to stick to that (paranoia lol). I could really fill the 4x4 area out with 9 instead of six. Was trying to let the current ones grow big but they just grew bushy and after almost 3 months of vegging, I didn't want to wait any longer. Like mentioned above, dont want to spend too much time on one grow. Not sure if it has to do with the fact that I started these from seeds or that I started them under T5s and kept them there for a while, but the previous grow (clones) grew longer and way less bushy in only 5 weeks of veg time. Will see how that affects yield.
