Im curious as well. Im going to chop this week and I have been debating if I want to wet or dry trim.

maybe leave some untrimmed to compare? So the untrimmed can stay in the drying chamber,
while the trimmed get removed when dry to the touch.

I do. I've tried dry several times because I always hear its better but it takes me a lot longer...just can't get the hang of it for whatever reason. When I harvest I harvest a lot and time is crucial so I just stick to trimming fresh.

Mine was chopped late night on the 4th.
I want her to hang in that same condition til the 16th at least.
when I open the tent she stands so good

I do everytime I have the time for a stint in trim jail. Cool temps, minimum air flow. 12 days is my target.

It doesn't dry a lot faster you might shave half a day off dry time. I always do it works for me

Why you think I chopped early? Don't be fooled by the white pistils lol buds milky 5% amber sugar leaves milky 30% amber. I don't want sleeping tablet weed haha I got zopiclone for that

Wet or dry. Both make good butter and tincture.

I don't have a preference. I usually dry trim. Dry sugar leaves can be rubbed off the bud. Quicker to go in dry tent after cutting. Slower dry.

Wet trim, you really need to dry it before storage. Like in the freezer.

I prefer the ease wet trimming but have no interest in drying faster, if anything I want it to dry slower. I just hate dry trimming. Looking at your pics they do look like you chopped early but if you are happy than that is all that matters. One mans early is another mans perfect I suppose.

I wet trim and always water the night before so she is plump. Slows down the drying and makes the leaves easy to pop off.

I have done both many times and I feel that wet trimming is best as long as your drying room has proper rh and Temps. It won't dry to fast and much quicker and easier to trim when wet. Though it is really a preference thing, I have some growers I know that always dry trim, I would say try half and half to get a fell for it yourself.

To each their own but the pistils haven't receded and calyx haven't swollen. That's why I put the "imo" in there. If you're content, that's all that matters.

I use a tent. Humidity controlled both up and down.

My dry takes about 7-8 days. Then dry trimmed.

Yes sir, I will be setting up a separate dry tent for my plants this time. Got an extra with a 4" variable speed carbon filtered fan so hoping to dial it in to the perfect environment. Too many mess up the critical harvesting/drying/curing phase thinking the work is done when they cut the stems.

I chopped off a small bud about 4 days ago quick dried in boiler cupboard for 3 days to test it, couldn't smoke the whole joint is was strong lol. I checked plant today not a single clear trichome so I chopped the main cola only. I'll leave the rest for a few more days as the top cola is always slightly ahead of the rest.
