Make sure you burn your carbon filters and tent....

But seriously if you dont do that then use physan and get everything soaked for at least 30 min and wash your pre- filters. Sulphur burn maybe to be safe. I would kill anything in veg you have, PM is systemic- and if you went into your bloom room and then veg, your veg plants now likely have it. Invest in a good dehum- one that is designed for growing- esp being in a basement. A quest 70 or 105 should do the trick.

I bring my night hum down to 40 during lights out the last two weeks.

And airflow, even during lights off.

As far as drying- I would normally say low and slow, but since you are dealing with pm and potentially moldy bud that might not be the best idea.
Luckily I only have some seedlings that I literally planted 2-3 weeks ago. I have looked into sulfur burning but have not spoken personally with anyone that has experience with sulfur burning. I used apple cider vinegar and water to keep the PM at bay but ended up chopping last night anyway.

My uncle uses it, but I always feel like I can tell on the bud he has used it on bc it’s much more harsh of a smoke

It won’t mold... ( your not supposed to dunk em in milk) lol. The milk is so diluted it literally dries on the plant surface and acts as a anti fungal (I’m sure I’m not using proper scientific terms) and it kills and prevents white mold. Its very science guy stuff... it was researched in a lab. And is being used in the United States in the farming industry with great results. I would never post somthing I do not know to work the way I say it does. As for it making your buds taste harsh, I used it on mine and rinsed ten days later and it was fine when dry. Smooth and tasty. Maybe your uncle isn’t rinsing them off. And you cannot use this method after cutting them down. Just making sure there’s no confusion

Eh I’m not really sure what’s up with my uncles weed. He fast dries it which I also think is part of the issue, I know that the drying and curing process is probably the most important to get right. Even now after my harvest I slow dried for 3 days before my humidifier ran out of water and than let the humidity go down to 45% for the remaining 2 days and I can notice the difference from mine to his so
