Some nice responses & it seems that no one so far is for this globilization as the elite want it. The way things go in the next few years will determine the future for many. What are some opinions on what we will see here in the U.S. specifically?

^^^ we'll continue to evolve into a police state. Posse Comitatus is being eroded...especially within the bailout plan. Since our country is in a horrible economic position President Bush that it would be great to destroy our constitution even more.
Citing his reasons as social unrest if things continue to get worse. You will see individual rights taken away for the greater good. You have bills like HR 1955 being placed in front of our legislation for vote. How orwellian is that? A thought crime bill being voted on in our very congress. The next 20 years will say alot.

i say the next year will say alot... not sure if we have 20 left.... the more i look into it, the more obama looks like the antichrist... not because he is black.... one world govt; we have the EU, the NAU coming... they will soon abandon that plan in favor of NWO... one world bank is closer than it appears, if not here already.... nick rockefeller has already spoken about "monetary implant chips", without which no purchases/transactions can be made... quite frankly it scares the shit out of me.... biden has already made statements to the fact that there will be an "international disaster to test obama" within 6mos of his presidency.... obama is already calling for a civilian military.... 2009 is gonna be a year of drastic change; not for the better either:spew:

I only say 20 years because it has to be subtle. The only question is Obama the real threat, or will he do what everyone of his predecessors have done which is to lay the groundwork for the next prick. This economic crisis should be striking a chord on a different level than what most people think. Banks folding, people losing there homes, etc... The cream is rising to the top. I envision that the Federal Reserve will finally become a Government entity that will take the place of the investment/commercial banking scheme. Then that leads to micro chipping. Being chipped by the fed is the only way you can hold any value. It should scare you, but you have to give the rights up on your own. People just have to ask themselves the greater question. Do I want to live off the grid void of material possessions, or do I live my life like a puppet for the newest Mercedes model, or those air jordans.

i see we share alot of the same views... wanna be my neighbor in the deep woods?? planning my off grid life already; gettin my survival/self sufficiency skills up to par; and trying to get there before it is an absolute neccesity... i hope im wrong for my kids sake, but i dont think so:?

Im right here with you. We can start our own self-sufficient canna-topia.
I'd like to think that there is some way we can avoid it, but every year we lose more and more control over basic freedoms. There are times where I don't even want children based on the impending future. I just hope by the time they reach grade school 2+2 doesn't equal 5.

shit; too late for me on the kids part... i just hope it takes long enough for them to be big enough to tote a rifle with me... a big rifle, with a huge clip:clap:... call me paranoid, but im bout to stock up on ammo in case obama does try to take our guns... aint happenin here buddy:finger:

Did you see some of the shops in Texas selling 100k worth of guns and ammo daily right after the election? Shit's crazy.

haha it might someday at this rate.. as liberal as we are viewing everything.. 2+2 could indeed = 5 .. for all we know we forgot to add in the numbers feelings etc.. :P LOL

o man.. either way. if he isn't the antichrist and messes stuff up, we are strong enough to come back.. and if he makes things better.. then good..
if he's the antichrist and all that 2012 stuff is true.. then hey... the fates have spoken. choose a side and enjoy the ride ;)

a group of my friends and i got hand guns, cause we can see those being banned.. we already have hunting rifles and shotguns.. i dunno.. gun ban, opening borders.. bringing the world to us.. doesnt sound like a good idea all at once ... hah ..

better to get em and store em somewhere.. i mean.. if they stop selling them altogether.. they are gonna be hard to get when you truly do need em..

That's why it will be subtle. They open the borders gun violence skyrockets, then they implement the gun ban. It's just a domino effect, except the end doesn't justify the means. Be careful with purchasing ammo...I've read they're going to start putting serial numbers on casings.

Interestingly enough the number of violent crime increases with the increase of weapons bans and laws. Government knows this BTW. Public safety is not on their agenda.

Well brothers and sisters, we now have military stationed around the country to act during a national crisis and possible civil unrest.

So my guess is that they're going to do something that is going to piss Americans off, and are preparing for it as we speak.

Get your storeable foods, get your guns and plenty of ammo. Get warm clothing, blankets, sheets. This is starting during the winter, so it's going to be cold for awhile.
