Seedman description online they’re pineapple express#2 by G13 labs. I thought the same myself but have been told different so wanted to check with you guysNot even close? Who is saying 45-50 days? What strain?
Maybe G13's #2 (their cut) is done that quickly. But in seed form I highly doubt every pheno would be that quick. Not to mention 45-50 days seems unlikely for any strain.Seedman description online they’re pineapple express#2 by G13 labs. Will it effect yield if I take them down now? I don’t want to risk losing out if it’s as simple as leaving it and extra week or twoDon't go by a set amount of days. Go by when the plant is ready.
Yes, it will effect yield. Those plants haven't had their final swell/push toward the finish line yet. They are still covered with fresh white pistils. Will it effect yield if I take them down now? I don’t want to risk losing out if it’s as simple as leaving it and extra week or two
Okay thank you I’ve been keeping an eye on the trichomes waiting for them to turn cloudy as I’ve seen that it’s a good way to check maturity, would you advise going by this also?Plants cannot read breeder claims, throw out your calendar. Plants need weeks yet but looking good.
Yes, it will effect yield, smell, taste and potency. You would really be wasting all your hard work. Let them finish and your patience will be rewarded. Will it effect yield if I take them down now? I don’t want to risk losing out if it’s as simple as leaving it and extra week or two
Thank you will post update when harvestedThey look great see you in 3-4 weeks
Yes, trichomes are the final check for me but visually your plants are not ready to start checking trichomes. The pistils are still white and reaching out. When they stop reaching out it is time to start checking trichomes.Okay thank you I’ve been keeping an eye on the trichomes waiting for them to turn cloudy as I’ve seen that it’s a good way to check maturity, would you advise going by this also?
Thank you I didn’t realise it would make such a difference I assumed yield would be effected but not the taste etc i will converse with my growing partner and see if he’s happy to leave, much appreciated for the helpYes, it will effect yield, smell, taste and potency. Yes it will affect both yield and quality. Those plants are not ready which is why I said to not go by a set amount of days but to go by when the plant is done. No problem. Plants do a big swell their last 2 weeks and yours are not there yet. When you cut early you get fluffy buds that have underdeveloped THC and terpenes. You end up with that hay smelling harsh fluffy bud. It's kind of like eating a banana before it is ripe. Sure it looks like a banana but it tastes like crap because it has not ripened. Your pot is the same, it has to ripen or you are cheating yourself. Good luck and if you grow partner won't wait make sure they leave your half alone. Than you can go back to them in a few weeks and show them what their weed could have been like if they were more patient. Good luck.Thank you I didn’t realise it would make such a difference I assumed yield would be effected but not the taste etc i will converse with my growing partner and see if he’s happy to leave, much appreciated for the help
This is a great help thank you much appreciated! I will show my growing partner these pictures.
