On the laptop and regular media not jumping on the story, I read about it many times. And the consensus said they were not going to give more print to the story until they can confirm the validity of the emails. All that Giuliani showed was an image and did not supply a copy of the actual file. The file would have the metadata that would confirm if the emails were legitimate. It is a reasonable request if the Trump people believed the file to be real.

I’m with ya Padawan.
As we all live in the real life hunger games. It’s so fun to sit in districts 1-5 and argue about morals and deplorables. While at the same time we build our walls high from our neighbors, cut off family members, and literally hate/fear our political enemies. This is not an accident. It’s manufactured fear and the goal is to lead the “people” into a state of happily throwing our rights away. We love it. We didn’t right the rights to begin with because that’s a big responsibility to have all the rights and freedoms.
I don’t know friends, seems kinda scary that the majority of our country is happen to destroy free speech. I don’t care about the argument of trump inciting the violence. Doesn’t matter. If the script was flipped, or the precident this whole censorship thing sets for the rest of us “citizens” is scary.
The next step is any one of us saying something against the status quo and we are silenced. Isn’t that scary to anyone??? That the tech industries have this power? I don’t know. It’s a slippery slope, and talking to a friend who grew up in Poland made me think a lot about the correlation between what we have going on in the states and how a slow takeover of our freedom starts. And the funny thing is. The majority of the people want it, then it’s too late

This whole thread was started about this Parler thing. And to be honest I didn’t even know of parlors existence until couple days ago. I think the idea was to think about the implications of censoring. Doesn’t matter if you think it’s justified or not. What matters is that history will be written by the victors. It’s easy to let a few rules go when your winning the game. But the losers of the game will never sit back and be quiet. They will see how the referee perhaps misled the game and divide and new strategy, with a new tenacity for winning.
