Deep penetration

So my light is only 100watt draw but measuring my light in umols the whole canopy reads around 800 wich seems decent for flower ...just worried about intensity and penetration any alternative to intensify lighting from underneath other then another light ??..near future will be junking this one (came in a grow tent kit)and getting some decent rayss,

For me? My goto would be a 315 cmh.
When i had a 3x3 thats what i used with great success. If you're dead set on leds id be looking into the newer style smd chips or cree cobs. But again. Thats just my preference.
But its really not my place to say what kind of light YOU should use. All depends on your preferences, interests, goal etc etc.
You just wana grow for the heck of it? Sure use that blurple 100watter. Its going to work but your end result will def not be what you think it will.
Do you buy shwag weed? Then why grow it?

The plants have been doing pretty good day 50 and they are about two foot wide by a foot tall lots of lst ..just need more light to hit the undergrowth I’m assuming ..

Thats just one option. There are many diff style cmh fixtures that you can use. Thats what i use personally. I upgrade the bulbs to sunmaster or ushio bulbs. I run 4200k for veg 3100k for flower and 10,000k for finishing. Same ballast just change out the bulbs. Easiest cheapest way to control optimum spectrum for each stage. You will notice the plants respond far better to this full spectrum light than blurples
In the states they are sold under the manufacturers name sinowell.

Hell yeah sounds like you know the subject of cmh!my lights not a blurple.and ideal light would be like 2x2 led I never checked the actual draw tbh didn’t even know anything about it I seen 600w ppr

I used to grow with hps, switched to led....unhappy switched to cree cob... Happier
Switched to.cmh. never going back.

Theres alot of cobs that would do your 3x3 well.

How much would a light like that increase electricity and temperature

It def runs warm. Warmer than an led but id say almost the same as running equal wattage cobs. Much less than an hps.
Power draw is 315w. Around 3.1amps.
I actually run a equipt cooling fan on the ballast and it helps keep it very cool. I can place my hand anywhere on the fixture and its only warm except of coarse on the bulb

To get my temp where it is now was hard enough lol idk I think I should just get another cheap 100watt draw and put it in there but then again I’m gonna buy something nice in the long run
