Disastrous 4 pH runoff

This is actually saying NOTHING about your mediums pH. Do not pH in soil, for sure not pH down, if your nuts fucking pH to low and you need to use pH up (hopefully you take measurement of pH of your nut mix after one day sit) just use lower dose for being in range. Dicking around with pH up and down in soil can cause only troubles. Also how was the EC of that runoff? More salts means lower pH. Do you have some lockout issues?
I have serious lockout issues. EC a little high.

cannabineer

Ursus marijanus
Guys who recommended potassium, are any of these products ok? It's the fastest delivery items I can get.

Those are potassium sources but they aren’t alkaline. Potash and caustic potash are.
The chloride could cause lockout. It interferes with nutrient anion absorption.

Than you have probably overfeeded caused salt built up which kicked pH too low and lockout. Never “flush” with plain water, flush with half strenght BALLANCED food solution untill you see EC in range.

Edit: when you decide to go to do this, your water should be pHed after adding nutes and let it sit for one day to be sure about that pH.

SamRD. Is the MG the only medium you have access to ?. Would be great if you had something that gave you more control (No slow realese nutes)
Your not going to be able to flush this mix.

It was a mistake, I do have access to other soils, I'm getting decent one next time. Right now just having difficulty finding the correct product to fix this soil.

I understand. I would get the prilled dolomite that someone posted a pic of in this thread. The process for prilled dolomite uses clay on outside so it has an instant PH-up effect. Then the dolomite has great buffering over 6 weeks before light reapplication "may" be needed.
***even with above application and bringing your medium PH into range i would still be concerned with slow release nutes in that mix.***
2cents---- transplant and or use different medium....

Guys so I tested pH today and it got better, seems to have got up by one point. Should I wait for it to work more or add more?
