Lights too Close to the Tips?

Need some light distance advice. Using a Mars Hydro 2000. Have the intensity at 100%. First time with LED. Growing 4 White Widows. I want to make my buds as dense as possible at harvest. Per Mars, the ideal distance from the canopy is 12 to 18 inches. Hard to tell from the picture but some of the large colas are more like 8 inches from the lights. Plants seem very happy and I'm just starting week 5. I read recently that if the lights are too close during flower, it could lead to airy buds. Your thoughts? Should I raise the lights? I kind of like the fact that the light is hitting the secondary canopy of side branches nicely.

excessive heat will make airy buds, not intense light
strong light will produce dense flowers

your light is not too close, otherwise you would get top leaves bleaching, lighter green than the bottom
its not the case for the plant the closer, the one in the background i'm not sure but top leaves looks lightly bleached

at this stage of flower healthy plants love to take a lot of light

go on

Thanks King. The back cola is not bleached, it's just the pic, but thanks for the advice and I will continue to monitor. Peace.
