Hi there, I’ve been told not to remove leaves from an auto due to the short recovery time etc but this plant is getting really bushy, any thoughts would be really appreciated

Thanks that sounds good, plants looking lovely what light are you using?I have only taken off the very bottom by the soil and maybe 2 fan leafs that were just blocked ive been letting mine just go for now I'm about 3 weeks in flower now. I prefer to leave as much green as possible as its all energy stored so. Just my 2 c tho
Awesome good luck with your luck with the rest of your grow bro! It's a vivarspectra 300w with a built in timer. Pulling 200 actual watts in a 2x2. My first grow in about 7ish years some purple punch , got seed from dispensary 8th )
And thank you
You to !! She looks plenty healthy to me I mean if she grows to the point where you feel light penetration is a issue maybe couple leafs or a few fan leafs sometimes if it helps expose undergrowth , I prefer to twist em under others and keep as many as possibleAwesome good luck with your luck with the rest of your grow bro!
Yeah I’ve done the same so far just tucking them under and away, some seem to get droopy once I’ve hidden them but I guess they’re just sulking that they are not hogging all the light anymoreYou to !! Those are what I use to lst my plant with sometimes I cut small pieces so I can pull a fan leaf to another and kinda stick em together to open space upYeah I’ve done the same so far just tucking them under and away, some seem to get droopy once I’ve hidden them but I guess they’re just sulking that they are not hogging all the light anymore
Ahh cool I’m using something similar like a rubber coated wire, it was at the garden centre 10m of it I think seems to work okayThose are what I use to lst my plant with sometimes I cut small pieces so I can pull a fan leaf to another and kinda stick em together to open space up
I wouldn't consider that bushy or in dire need of defoliation.Hi there, I’ve been told not to remove leaves from an auto due to the short recovery time etc but this plant is getting really bushy, any thoughts would be really appreciated

This is a bushy auto in need of defoliation.
Overall plant health will dictate what needs to be removed if any at all.
IMO I wouldn't remove anything from that plant.
