You obviously haven’t smoked mine!I’ve never smoked good outdoor weed.
I probably wouldn’t like it unless it has terpenes from outta this worldYou obviously haven’t smoked mine!
On your next outdoor grow, I would recommend you start to use potassium bicarbonate. Then during your harvest wash the buds using it ( potassium bicarbonate) in the first wash tub (the other two can be 1) a mixture of lemon juice or h2o2and water and 2) the third and/or fourth wash tub should be, plain water. It will prevent and kill powdery mildew and bud rot. Washing them also gets rid of any dead bugs and their droppings too.I remember walking into one of the many illegal dispensaries nearby, before they had to close up for the legal shops. An older guy (say mid 50’s) was inside talking to the guy behind the counter looking for a certain strain. He said “me and the wife love it and so I grew it outside a few years back. I had no issues with it, but the misses, well she don’t like the taste” I did my first outdoor grow 2 years ago and wasn’t that great (buds weren’t drying properly and TONS of seeds from other new growers nearby) and all were clones from my winter/spring tent grow. The only strain I thought that worked better outside was my Gorilla Zkittlez (had some tonight and still kicks ass) Too much to harvest, not enough hands to trim fast enough. Lost a bunch of Fruity Pebbles too mold while drying. This past summer I did overall, a lot better. I had white powdery mildew issues that destroyed my Rainbow Kush and I think sort of effected some of my Jack Herer, Durban Poison and Blueberry as well. Still the taste for some that I grew in the tent beforehand tasted and smoked just as well as the tent (maybe a bit better high too) I’m growing again this spring because if I’m allowed to grow, I’ll grow
oh I do bud wash all my outdoor gals and pretty much they way you described. I know my Rainbow Kush was in the corner or my yard and was shielded from much of the wind and main reason for my WPM issue there. Pretty much killed most of the plant, just as flowering happened. Others got the wind no problem but not as much sun as my BD and Glookies I posted. No drying/mold issues anymore or ever again with my harvest right freeze dryer. On your next outdoor grow, I would recommend you start to use potassium bicarbonate. Good luck friend!
Cool. Just thought the potassium bicarbonate spray could help. It's saved many-a-growers butt around where I'm from.lol. I personally swear by the ways I use it. And I haven't had any real issues with mold or mildew since the first time I used the stuff.oh I do bud wash all my outdoor gals and pretty much they way you described.
