When is it normal for leaves to yellow

My leaves always start yellowing and developing other signs of deficiencies like dark spots in the middle as early as second week of flower. They are fine throughout veg with little to no nutes, but as soon as I switch and start feeding, they start changing. When should this naturally start and what do you suggest for a fox farm soil and nutrient grower I add? Trying to add more growing nutes during first weeks of flower and molasses but still, the yellowing continues. Buds look nice but still, I dont think leaves should die that fast. May also be a ph imbalance or even nute burn though i dont feed excessively at all...maybe just wrong nutes.

This is beginning of week 4, just cut off a bunch of dead leaves.

I have no idea what you mean by "feeding", but perhaps it's not coincidence it happens when you start doing that. I always opt for the Occam's razor routine. That condition will seriously affect yield, and it's not normal. Definitely some details will help, like what exactly you're nutes are, and how much, and how you water, etc.

I started off with a tsp of grow big per gallon, next watering just regular water, then 1 tsp big bloom, regular, regular, tsp of tiger Bloom, regular, then big bloom, regular, then tiger bloom, regular, etc. I usually feed twice a week. What's the occams razor routine for weed? Not feed anything? Lol

I kind of want to try different nutes next grow, just dont know which ones yet. First weeks of flower are definitely my hurdle to overcome right now.

What's the occams razor routine?

It means the simplest explanation is likely the one that most fits the observation. In other words, if the yellowing begins to happen upon your nutrient switch/addition or other treatment, perhaps that is the most likely place to look for causation.

Only now it's like an emergency, so maybe you need to roll some dice since you don't have a lot of time ahead being already in flower. I'd flush the shit out of your pots because I don't know what's in there, or if something is built up. Then add something high in nitrogen and forget the "bloom" nutes in that condition. And pH the whole thing. If you wanna grow this way, you need to know what's going on with pH and nutrient levels in your soil. That's easy to do with a 30% runoff using coir and a pH'ed and EC measured nutrient solution, but with soil you may get a buildup that could cause lockout or all sorts of issues. And what's in your water?

I have grown successfully with salts in soil, but it's a really trial and error thing to get dialed in. It depends on the CEC and drainage characteristics of the soil medium, as well as how much runoff you allow, and any "pre-watering" practices that you employ. It was too complicated for me, so many years ago I decided to got in a different direction as far as grow methods. Plus I'm getting older and lazier. lol
