How to know when in final stage of flowering

for the purpose of knowing when to use switch to the final PK booster additive from the mid flower PK booster additive. Happen to be using Using Biestie Bloomz and Cha Ching by Fox Farm but that's irrelevant.
It has been said to go by weeks but that is just a generic schedule.
Could it be when tricohomes are prominent or pistil hairs change color.

On a side note is it possible to just continue to use the midflower PK booster till finish. If I would to reduce to dose to efectivialy reduce the Potasium level some and add slightly more nutrients or cal mag to boost nitrogen.

Thanks to all

At the end of flower, rippening phase (when the pistils start to receed and calyxes start to swell) you want low N, moderate P and high K. I am not a fan of boosters so can not tell you exactly, but I would skip it. Good luck!

I wait for damn near all pistils to turn brown. Then I begin the Cha Ching. As the last ones reced into the buds it finishes up and gets its final frost. Takes about 2 weeks.

Sometimes it goes 3 weeks instead of 2 using the Cha Ching with this method but its been good for many seasons of grows.

Thanks for good info. Can I ask you if you continue with Cha Ching up untill harvest and with the nutruints if they were used? Or just water in final days?

I continue the whole way thru. Once a week with cha ching for last 2 weeks. With reduced nutes.
