Great time to be growing indoors

As sad and horrific as this pandemic is, growing indoors has been an entertaing, fun activity. Some music, a cold one, some smokie-smoke and a pair of SHARP. surgical scissors. Let the good times roll.......beats the he'll out of watching the idiot box..Being retired you have to keep moving, be creative, have some passion for something ( like growing weed ) . It's a different story of course for the frontline workers, my heart goes out to all of them.

People grow for a living , legally . It turns into a job.....not fun anymore....it turns into a "grind" as he said. Arrogance.........sounded like it........condescending. What's the problem, the tough guy remark ?

A lot of us here been growing indoors for a decade or two. Sometimes it can be enjoyful getting a new strain and watching how it grows, trying out new mediums, trying a different fertilizer ratio etc. But most of the time after so many elbows it's just isolation, paranoia, carpal tunnel syndrome etc. Jaded? Maybe. But for many of us that new car smell faded long ago.

Took me running 2 tables at a time to make me hate growing. I had fun for a while but it became work. I shut everything down last year as I thought I was I was moving. Anyway, I didn't move. I scaled down the grow from 2 flower tables, 50 plants, down to 5 plants in soil. Didn't even complete the grow.
I keep telling myself to get back at it but I haven't.

My state finally went medical a couple years back and changed the cultivation laws from misdemeanor under 2lbs, 9 plants to all felony. And we have mms. So I made a tough decision to protect my young family and quit and go legit. And like you I went from DwC and aero tables to just a couple in soil the last few years. So much easier. I hope my dark ages state wakes up and I can get back to it at some point. On the plus side I met a few people here and gifted them my unneeded equipment.

I don't grow legally. I wasn't trying to start shit, you seem defensive. Still waiting on those pics.
I thought you'd already called this as Mainy and his twin liked his attack. I'm still trying to figure out why we have growing stuff in TnT. I thought they'd created TnT to keep us from wandering out there and 'helping'. I swear I'm going to start 'helping' more if this keeps up.

It could just be cold, wet and windy makes me cranky.

So true. How are you feeling?

A morning and observation. Plants are greener due to all the extra hot air being spewed. Yet suffering from the tension created by our constant inter actions.

Be safe people. And greenery will improve your life. If only for the purpose it gives you.

Peace.

I got burned out and started to resent it a few years ago, it was a part time job that needed daily procedures.. I switched back to soil and cut my wattage in half and enjoy it again. I can go 3 days without even looking at the indoor gardens. I still detest trimming outdoor harvest every fall but these small indoor harvests. Of 20- 26 zips aren't too bad to trim.
