hello guys!

This is my first grow.

i germinated this AK 47 auto with no problem.

on day 2 some white colors started appearing in the cotyledons.

now on day 5 both cotyledons are almost white.

what can it be?

temperature and humidity is on point. PH for watering is 6.5.

might it be the lights? i have 260w of samsung leds.
ive put them around 40cm from the plants and dimmed to the lowest...

could it be a bug? a fungi?

Today the seedling is even worse...

I think I overwatered.

I followed mrkanucks video and he saturated the pot with water 5hs before planting.

But be uses coco+perlite! I use soil... Rookie mistake.

Not just the pre saturation, after 3 days I watered again with 250ml and the soil wasn't even dry.

Is this like root rot symptoms? Roots are saturated in water and get no oxygen?IMG_20210119_210417735.jpg

Ive had seedlings like that before . That one still looks great. You dont want to over water . Especially that lil sprout. Check the soil before you water again with your finger dig a lil to see if its dry. Or you can wait a few days pick your pot up when it feels light water it.

Thank you!

How do you recommend I should water the seedlings? (Plants from day 0 to 10 aprox)

Should I give it a cup of water? (Around 200ml)
Should I water around the plant? No water on the plant directly o just a bit on the plant then the rest around?

What size pot you using? I currently use 1 gallon pot I normally water them until water drains out the bottom. Last night i used a gallon of water. To water 4 1 gallon potted clones. Ive had plant that i havent watered for over 8 days. Just check the 1st inch and a half with your finger and if you feel moisture leave it alone be patient. When it feels dry water it

I'm using 15L (4 gallon) smart pots.

But do you use soil?

Maybe it's the combination of overwatering + big pot.

You should be going by the weight of the container, you might only need to water that (to runoff) once per week. If you're not sure, after a few days, water right around the seedling with like 40 ml of water, enough to keep it going, but not enough to saturate the bottom of the plant. You want it actively pushing out roots to seek water. Water when the container is noticeably light-compare it to an identical container with fully saturated media if you need to.
