Should I remove the bud from a revegging plant?

I accidentally sent a small plant into flowering mode. I fixed the light cycle, but I also was fertilizing improperly by not watering til it came out the bottom, so over weeks it built up and all my plants stopped growing. After a long while they're finally showing signs of life again. For this guy should I leave the bud on or remove it? I feel like it's probably rife with flowering hormones, but at this point it's growing out of the bud. The bud is probably terrible to smoke, I'm just not sure if I should just leave it be or cut it off. I don't want to kill it either by shocking it. Maybe just leave it be and see what happens?

I wanted to post an update with images. It took awhile, but my plants recovered. I left all the bud on this guy just to see what'd happen. Half the plant is growing decently with a shit load of pistils. The areas with the densest nugs have the most abnormal growth. It looks like it co tinued to develop bud, slowed down that and is now slowly ramping up leaves again.

I think at this point I should reconsider cutting some of the bud off, but it's intertwined with vegetative growth, so I might end up lobbing off branches. I don't think it's wise to consume the bud and when I eventually harvest it I don't want to guess what's old and what's new.

I'd trash that and start over. I would also strive to have a cleaner grow area. Your just asking for problems like that.
For sure. It's just dry soil and I vacuumed it out after the pic, but I've been neglectful.
Guaranteed to hermie or throw a shitload of nanners. Bin that dog or fully reveg it.
Would that happen with any reveg or potentially just this one because the bud?

I wanted to let it grow until it had enough growth to cut off a bunch of it without killing it.

Just to clarify, it's in the vegetative stage now and it gets 18 hours of light a day.

I took three clones from it that are just rooting. Do you think these should be discarded too?

I have four plants total and each are a different strain. This plant is the only funky one.

I'd try to pick a little off every few days for a week or two and see how things respond and then decide from there if your going to give up on it or not.
Oh and take some clones...I find monster cropped clones seem to grow more node points.

It will take a solid 6 months or longer to reveg

I'm revegging these and I expect it to to take long than 6 months to get healthy not fucked up tops to clone

Excuse the mess I was transplanting

Stress. That plant would have ulcers if it had a gut. Personally I’d ditch it. Seeds are not that expensive.

I know plants can herm and self pollenate from stress experienced during the flowering phase. Do you know if a plant is more inclined to herm from earlier stress even if it's gotta better during the flowering phase? And by extension would that apply to clones (as it's the same plant) ? And what about seeds? It's a new plant, but there's stress in the lineage.
