This is my second grow first one hermied on me so I decided to experiment with a autoflower this ons is called dwarf king I think but its labeled harvest 70 days from germination on the 25th of January it will be 70 days I have a 60x to 100x microscope but my hands just doesn't seem to be steady enough.
How long do you guys think till harvest you expert eyes is needed

Still showing some white pistils and the calyx don't look like they've swollen fully. Hard to be exact but if that was my plant I'd plan on at least 10 to 14 days before I even bothered scoping trichomes. You may choose to take it down sooner, but at the very least let the fresh pistils darken and receed.

Why do plants foxtail?

How long is a piece of string, all strains act differently there's no way of knowing how long. You could grow two of the same strain bought from the same batch that grow differently and finish at different times. Add at least two weeks on to what the breeder say's.

It could simply be a known trait of a strain, but most times, it is stress related, and most times it points to, heat / light stress!
