Buds very small. Trichomes look brown

Hi. First time grower here.
My plant went into flower weeks ago. Buds stopped growing and the hairs are brown.
Did I mess it up

Well, since you provided everybody with so much info - medium, lighting, nutrients, temps, ph - I am shocked(shocked!!) that nobody has responded to help you out.
