Well if they dont let me use the discount I wont buy it. Oh well.Riu10
I just saved on 2 uv bars and a used 650r. It might not work for a light already on sale though
You have to though.Well if they dont let me use the discount I wont buy it. Oh well.
I understand they have to make money to keep their business going. I'm not super enthused to spend that amount on that light. Any discount would encourage but if they think its discounted enough because its on sale, we will have to agree to disagree. You have to though.
What are you talking about? The code works. It's $494 shipped after the "RIU10" code.I understand they have to make money to keep their business going. They have cheaper options too, but HLG is the shit. They're the ones who started quantum boards basically.
What size is your grow area? And what's your budget?HLG 350R LED Horticulture Grow Light (horticulturelightinggroup.com)

Not really of any concern with grow area and budget, just looking for a deal. I'm well aware of HLG's rep as I have been on this site for some time. If the discount is true I will most likely purchase. Just curious as to what beneficial effects I can get from an LED . I'm a small hobbyist grower. Quality is everything, and I've read some interesting things about LED and terpene production. What size is your grow area? And what's your budget?
Im not an electronics guy to say the least, are these simple to assemble? How would I hang something like these? Does one driver power all?3 of these - https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/quantum-boards/products/qb96-elite-v2-quantum-board-engine
and a driver
Cost 40% less and will perform just as well.
It is extremely easy, a quick video can help a lot. It is as simple as clicking the +/- wires into the corresponding connectors. You can hang them individually by attaching some hangers to screws that thread into the side of the heatsinks or you can make a simple frame out of aluminum angle. One driver powers them all, they are wired in parallel.Im not an electronics guy to say the least, are these simple to assemble? How would I hang something like these? Does one driver power all?
Dam I wish I can go back in timeThe QB 120's are another solid option, $120 for a 4-pack after code RIU10. Each board can run up to 70w and doesn't require heatsinks.

Going DIY with the QB 96's or QB 120's ends up being much cheaper and you can arrange them to spread the light evenly over your desired footprint.
I sure can't understand Chinese instructions.HLG prices are insane, even with a discount that they considered before making the original pricetag... Just research the parts and find them as cheap as you can. It's not hard to assemble even with chinese instructions. Or pay way more than you need, I guess it's still worth it.
