Trichomes look clear yet.....

All depends on what kind of high you want too....
I know, it's all so complicated....

Show us some pics of the whole plant as well as the trichomes and we can probably give you a better idea. Just based on the trichomes... I dunno, probably a little bit?

As others have already stated, you need to post a picture of the entire plant or at least more than just a closeup of the trichomes.

It seems like many people are going only by trichomes these days. Looking at that second photo while it doesn't show much of the plant I can still see that there are lots of white pistils.

I've said this many times but here it is again. Trichomes are not the only criteria to use when determining if a plant is done. In fact going by trichomes alone can lead to an early and disappointing harvest. You need to look at the entire plant not just the trichomes. Some strains the trichomes will not turn amber while others will show ambering trichomes well before the plant is ready especially on what many call the sugar leaves.

Here are some more pictures, there are indeed quite a few white pistils but the plant has been going for 16 weeks and the company i bought the seed from says it should take 10 to 12 weeks. So it's definetely longer than it should be but i'm thinking genetics? Could also be my environment because i dont have the perfect setup.

What strain is it? When they say 10- 12 weeks they mean once it starts flowering. That doesn't include the vegetative stage.

But that plant is not close to being ready to harvest. You have another 3 - 4 weeks.

Environment does play a part. But don't worry about all the fancy equipment others have. Just worry about Your plant. Keep doing what you've been doing and you'll harvest some weed. You're not going to get a big harvest but if you wait until the plant is finished you should get some smoke that you'll be happy with. If you decide to upgrade your growing setup you'll find a lot of good advice on this site if you ask.

The strain is northern lights autoflower from royal queen seeds. On the website it says 10 to 12 weeks after germination is when to harvest, so it definetely is slower than usual, i guess i'll just keep going. Thanks for the advice

Oh it's an autoflower. Well it's still weeks from harvest. Those breeder times are not always reliable.

Just keep doing what you're doing until it's done. That's all you can do.

Thank you for your help, i'm not looking for big harvests as i'm not a daily smoker but it would be Nice to have some decent bud.

It's not slower than usual. Seedbanks lie about time frame to get you to buy their "fast" strains.

It's all marketing bullshit.
