Genetic mutations are real, and in fact more common than one might think. It's recently been discovered that genetic mutations between twins is a larger reason for differences between twins, as opposed to the older theory of environmental impacts having greater effects on individuals who share a common DNA.

Pushing 3 years is my best. But root health eventually degrades without a couple serious bare root cleanings and transplants. But made it almost 2 years in a 6 gal pot.
i meant keeping the line going not a mother plant you had a mother last 2 years? cool

you can it is super simple it just takes patience and they will root i use solo cups and seed starting mix cut at a 45 degree angle dipped in hormone stuck straight in a little water and into a dome for a couple weeks oh yeah trim the fan leaves
I have had very bad luck, but I will try again at some point here.

I've had cuts that I mothered for years, which somehow changed along the line. I had this one super lemony cut that I grew a few times, and every time was super lemony. One grow it came out really weird and perfumy, and I thought that I just somehow fucked it up, but the exact same thing happened the next run too, while the other strains I was growing at the same time turned out great. I ended up having to toss that cut.
