They will be begging for more calmag. I'd raise them to 18"-20" because I don't thing the TS600 is dimmable. 12" is too close imo. So backing up the lights to the proper distance, and adding calmag to the next watering should set you straight in a day or 2.
Thanks for the input I appreciate it and oh yeah I should mention my soil is literally living soil lol

I used bagged soil. Ff stuff. Not familiar, or even looked into living soil. Does that mean you don't need calmag or something?
no idts anyway it’s horse manure that’s 5 years old I watered the other day and a couple worms came up along with one of those bugs that roll up into a ball

If I have hard water does that provide plants with essential minerals to a extent cal.iron?
If you have hard water than that classification starts at PH 8.5, that seems incredibly high. I know soil buffers some but that sounds like an issue. If using tap water you can likely lower your calmag and add some Epsom salt for magnesium. As a coco grower I would not take advice from me though, I don't grow in soil and don't want to steer you wrong. @PadawanWarrior grows in with some kind of no till soil, perhaps he has some soil advice?

Fair enough, as I say I don't want to steer you wrong as I am not a soil guy. I just think with the definition of hard water starting at a ph of 8.5 it is too high and could be locking things out. Take a look at this PH chart. A PH of 8.5 is leaving out most nutes and I don't know how good your soil corrects. Let's see what Padawan says regarding soil. I am sure a few adjustments will sort you out.

What type of water is it? Tap or well? It sounds like there's probably plenty of Ca if your pH is at 8.5.

And if you want a truly living soil, you need to lose the chemical nutes.
It’s 60ft well gravity fed plus pump .I was just saying living because of the insects I have seen coming up to get air when I water .my soil is pretty much 5-6 yrs old horse and goat droppings with decomposed hay and some rotted tin . Black sand almost clumps for a second then falls back apart hold water pretty good

I have hard well water, like 700 ppm hard. My ph out of the tap is 7.
im new to indoor growing but the research I’ve done is water as hard as mine can add to many minerals and lock out macro nutes.
