MY BUD BRANCHES KEEP BREAKING!!!

Alright y'all, idk wtf is going on!! I'm heartbroken. Everytime I lightly touch a bud site or branch with the LIGHTEST pressure it fucking SNAPS RIGHT OFF!! plant is otherwise really healthy in DWC, good color, no yellowing, nice root structure. Its an autoflower in week 5 and so far I've lost 4 whole bud branches!! What's going on!??

That plant is far from otherwise healthy. I’m not a hydro guy, but something looks off with that girl from canopy to roots.

What's the PH, PPM, air & water Temps.
How much air?
Should be a lot more root mass for that size plant.

The leaves seem to have some curling, some sort of stress maybe. I had a plant that grew almost hollow once, it had thick stems but it was like a straw. It broke a couple just trying to lst. It slowly went away after upping the cal mag dosage, but it was still pretty small. Good luck man.

I just did a rez change the rez 4 days ago at PH of 5.8 ppm 420, just checked now and it's at PH 5.5 and ppm 381, water temp 67°, tent temp 70° . I have an 8Liter 2 socket air pump running on high one air stone in this rez and one in another

Alright man thanks for the input!! How did you know it was hollow? The stems that break off dont look hollow

The main stem was as big as my pinky at way too young of an age, about twice the size of its sister. You could gently pinch and feel it compress. The pinch you do for supercropping would literally explode the branch where your fingers were at. I cut a leaf off, and the stem was visibly hollow. I’m glad that’s not the problem. Hopefully someone has your answer.

Are you feeding a good amount of Nitrogen?? What is Base Feed Ratio? I use 1-1-2. Weed likes just as much Nitrogen, as it does phosphorous, and 2x the amount of K. Some may recommend Silica. Im not sold on it.

Also how about Iron? Weak stems could be an Iron Deficiency. Most weed doesnt require extra Iron, some does.

Some also say hollow stems can be an indicator of a higher potency plant. Is genetic.

I'm doing 1-1-1 right now, I can definitely bump up the K next rez change if you think that will help. I have no idea about iron... I dont even know where to start with that lol
