To flip or not to flip.. that is the question..

Hey good people.
I was planning to veg for 6 weeks, but plants have really taken off in the last week or so. Was then wanting to fill the front of the lower scrog, but now thinking it might be a good time to make a move.

I'd flip. She's going to be that size times three. With the later growth being a lot more thick and bushy.

I've (tried) to veg longer then a month. But around day 28 to 32. She's too big to veg another two weeks. There simply isn't enough room after the stretch.

Next grow will be one plant. Then I can veg a bit longer. With two plants in my space. I can only get away with a month veg.

I don't see the point in topping those again and yeah they are about ready to flip.

I actually haven't topped them. A lot of training around the lower scrog. Kind of hard to see from the angle, but the plant in back is a bit taller. I was considering topping that one to even out the canopy. This is my first indoor grow in a long time, and first in a tent, so I'm a bit unsure of the optimal flow of things in the limited space

Ok well there appears to be plenty of tops for that space already. Most people advise to wait at least a week after topping before flipping, but honestly I have never topped right before flipping so I can't say if it's a good idea or not. I would guess it depends on the strain, and for some that don't stretch much, if you top right before flipping, you might end up with a bunch of tiny buds. Also, less bud sites spread out = bigger buds, more bud sites close together = smaller buds. There is a balance of course though, you don't want them spaced out too much and waste space. Yours looks ready to flip from that pic. Just work on keeping that canopy even.
