Drying

So I have read that if you use a cardboard box to dry your bud, that it can sometimes taste like it, now I also read that to solve this problem, that you can use waterproof material to cover the inside of the box, to stop the box soaking up all your moisture, I'm wanting to know if anyone has done this and if it works?

A lot of the reason people use cardboard and paper bags is that they'll absorb the excess moisture and helps regulates humidity. To water proof the inside is the same as using a plastic trash can.

I read it a while back on a different forum , bit never thought much of it untill I started getting closer to harvesting

I would use the tent but there is a plant in there that won't be ready same time as my other two, so got to use something else

That's why you buy a second tent. One that's dedicated to drying. It can be smaller then your main tent. I personally consider it a necessary tool to get the most out of your hard work.

This is exactly what what i did. Its only $50 for a small 2x2x4 tent dropped at your door. By the time you buy and rig something up you will have 20-30 bucks and a lot of time invested. I feel $50 and 5 minutes is easier in my book. The plus side is, you can start some seedlings/clones in there a couple weeks before harvest in the main tent and swap them over. Shave a couple weeks off harvest times.
