Small mother room 1x2x2 ?

I have a 3ftx2ftx4.5ft tent that has 3 partitions in it. If I section it out, it would be 2x2x4.5, and 2 small 1x2x2.25. What type of light would be good for very small clones and mother plant in a 1x2x2? I want to have the big space for veg and flower for a mini sog, 1 small space for drying, and 1 small space for mother and small clones just to root before putting in the other side of the tent. Would a cheap blurple light work, or what should I get that is cheap? Emphasis on cheap. Wife doesnt want me to keep buying more things lol.

I'm putting the partition up this week so I can dry the plant I'm about to harvest, and I'm going to get all ducting and everything done, so that wont be an issue. Picture for reference with the circle around the space that I'm thinking.

I did my first plant under blurple light, it will work fine for that purpose.

T5's can practically touch the plants. Or LED's dimmed way down. LED's are gonna cost more though.

I thought about T5, the problem is I cant find and ballasts that are 12 inches or under unless it's way up there in price. Then it's cheaper to get an LED. With only 2 ft of space, the light Needs to be smaller.

It's a small space. Can you find one with 100 watt draw or better? Should suffice for clones and seedlings.

If you want LED it's gonna be more $. Personally I'd stay away from blurple. You only have 2 ft. of height to work with.

Do you have any interest in building your own?
 
A decent 100 watt LED, like a MARS 600 or equivalent, is going to be too strong for that space and purpose. I'd look for a 2-4 bulb 24" T5, otherwise you're going to look at janky LEDs with dubious performance.

I didnt see until now that the length is 23". That may work! I was thinking the bulb was 24" plus another inch or so for the fixture, which wouldnt work. I will measure the tent when I get home. Thanks!
 
I have run several grows start to finnish back in the day with CFLs
Would work perfect for a mother plant
You could grab a few of these

I forgot I had 2 of these sitting in my garage. Too underpowered? Just trying to keep mother alive and establish roots.

I was hoping 26 watts will be enough since ive seen some people use 26 watt cfl for clones, so I guess we will have to see. Fingers crossed. I was only planning on growing autos for now so I didnt care about cloning, but after 1 of my autos turned out not to be an auto, and then I have Barney's RUNTZ MUFFIN coming in, I figured its time to get a cloning room ready lol
