What's funny right where? Look at this pic the hps is dual spectrum it don't have nowhere near enough blue which is the issue normal HPS bulbs have.summary-spectrum-c-100-1024x576-1.jpg
You can see in my other post the graph of the MH bulb has much more blue light. If you don't know don't comment mate.

Maybe tell that to the millions who run HPS throughout the grow. Telling someone they NEED MH is ridiculous.

Are you for real? This is pretty standard basic knowledge and has been for years and years. Yh can do a full grow with either light it doesn't make it ideal. What is ideal is MH for veg and HPS for flower. And don't dim any bulbs if you want to keep the spectrum change to correct bulb for the wattage set.

Thanks for the info. I've got myself a 400w MH for veg and I'll keep the 600w hps for flower. Put them under 2 days ago and they seem to be loving it
