Do you have a budget for us to use in helping you find the light(s) for your grow. Are you a build it yourself capable grower or would you prefer a prebuilt? Plus I guess knowing what country also helps for recommendations

I’m in the US and would prefer to buy it pre built but can definitely do it myself if need be. Budget is ideally 800-1000$

I was thinking about 2 SF2000 instead of 1 SF4000 in order to spread the light more evenly.
I have two in a 5x5...underpowered? maybe. I had to flip this tent i normally use for late veg/preflower since my flower room was already full.
About 30 days in...

Are you set on only those lights or are you open to other options? The HLG scorpion rspec is on sale for $899.
I am definitely open, I was looking at the scorpion as well but I feel like it loses too much light intensity towards the corners, which other led bar designs seem to get pretty well. Still new to leds so don’t wanna pull the trigger on something that I’ll regret in a year

You're right that the bar designs do seem to give a more even spread which is probably one of the reasons they have become so popular. Have you looked at Chilled growcraft? Theyre a little above your budget for a 5x5 but I think that would be my choice If i was looking at a bar Led.

I would stay away from Spider Farmer just because I have heard quite a few bad stories about their Customer Service and the warranty isn't very good.

I'm happy with my Alibaba lights so far so that could be another option for you if you dont mind ordering from China.

If you’re doing the 2 boards I would recommend these Budget LED 250w Infinity Boards. On the higher end you could look into 2 of their new 350w Demon Boards or their 330w Infinity Boards like mine. Personally I like the cheaper option as it‘s pretty much what I have now and my plants have been looking great. They are Michigan based and run by former army vets, and were great on shipping

Wish I could update my other post above but too much has passed now. If you decide to go with BudgetLED, they just upped their discount code. They use to offer 5% off your purchase, but (as of this past Monday) they upped it to 10% Off by using 420mag.

I still haven't pulled the trigger, now I'm looking at the growcraft x5 and optic slim 600h. Does anyone have china alternative to these lights?

Do they happen to offer a bar style led?

they just do the heat sink quantum style like panels/boards. So 2 of there 3 panel light boards might be the better option then my one 4 panel board. Kinda regret not going 2 of the 3 panel boards myself for better light distribution if some plants got too much of a flowering stretch then others.

Many choices out there, good luck with whatever you buy! If it was I spending that kind of money I'd want to know the company I give my money to has a good customer service and warranties.
