Should I cut or not

I’m in week six of flower and I’m trying to let my buds grow out together but they have a shit ton of little target fans blocking the buds from growing up. They just grow beside and up. Should I remove all the little fans and let it grow out, or should I leave them for the next couple weeks and let it all grow together to do a good foliage then flush and and cut at harvest.

You need to cut all fan leaves that are obstructing bud sites... That helps with lighting and air movement️

I would leave as is

Looks pretty small for week 6 are you using cheap lights or cfls?
No it’s just the genetics and the way it’s tied. Instead of letting them all grow up together and high stress the tops . I topped every other node as it grew And tied all the colas as straight as an arrow that I could. Instead of making really big colas I got a whole bunch of extra bud sites to make up for it from the lower branches that turned into mini colas. All three of these colas are on a satellite beach. It’s a slow growing plant so I’ll probably have to flower 11 or 12 weeks total before cutting.

Be careful removing things after week 4 in flower
As whizzle said it can cause stress and nanners
3 leaves a day is a bit on the safe side but i wouldnt be taking out handfulls at this point

Tuck 1st

If that's not enough very selective pruning. Over doing it will cause tons of stress and can create an environment for nanners.

No more than 3 leaves per day is what Id suggest to keep that stress to a minimum.
My big fans are pruned theres just still a bunch of small targets that are under each bud preventing light. I was thinking about just pruning out the fans n the bottoms of the bu sites where they start so the top leaves can spread out a little fuller.

Yea that's what I'm talking about. All the little stuff blocking light. You can also use some steaks to separate the colas and open the plant up.

I'm not a big fan of over doing defoliation that deep into flowering.

Surprisingly my light is actually reaching through really good. Idk if it was because I pulled my main colas all the way to the corners to let the lower branches grow the middle or not but there actually bout the same size of my main colas only a little smaller.

I used s scrog and tied her like a Waterhouse and mainlines every branch.

No I lollipoped also. Here’s the bottom. What’s unusual about this plant is it has this weird tendency to veg as it is flowering at the same time and I am on a 12 12 with no light cracks. You can see some of the fresh green trying to sprout out. I had somebody the other day who told me it was called a monster plant or super plant. They told Me if I took clones that I needed to just give the plants a smaller veg versus wider and longer period . All of these flowers are one stem reaching up.

Stuff like this kills yields.

Sucks energy and won't give you good bud down there.

Also lollipoping although you did a decent amount imo should only leaves 4 nodes per cola. Allowing all to grow even and way less light blockage as well as no popcorn buds. Which again much like the one I circled suck energy from your main buds.

Those suckers grow every four or fivedays with a flower tip and I’ve been cutting them. I haven’t cut that one because I’m so far in flower and trying not to stress. . That’s the picture I was trying to show you about the veg. I have to cut them probably every four or five days. I even have two more and trying to regrow on the bottom where the root system is like a seedling weird
