Best eye protection with quantum boards?

I use either plain sunglasses or a pair of "gas welding glasses" with the green lenses.

Actually looking directly at the leds. Checking to see if any chips are burnt. I use a welding hood set on #10 shade. The helmet goes up to 13 shade. 10 is the minimum to view a cob/led.

Most of the time. I don't use glasses all the time because I never look directly at the cobs. If I'm doing something like raising the light. Then I wear the safety glasses.

70,000lux is no joke.

I understand that you have ordered a pair but in case anyone else stumbles upon this thread, there are several types of glasses out there. Some go for style, some go for color correcting (blurple to green) and some go for maximal light block.
To combat white light, any type of dark color glasses will do the trick. Sunglasses work fine too but usually block less light than purpose-made glasses. Safety glasses are usually a bit more robust but even here the ability to block light varies from brand to brand.

We made a 5 min video on this topic for those who are interested.

I just use regular sunglasses under "white" light regardless of tech, blurple gave me headaches.

If running uv, always wear eye protection!

Probably this one?
I got the Agent 939, like @DoubleAtotheRON has, and he rocks a bucket hat too - good idea. I didn't know about these citadel, I wonder if the only difference is the frame style (is the lens tech the same?). HLG has their method seven glasses in stock now (lens looks the same/similar) and they're $60usd, sounds like a good deal.

LOL - I think I have the same pair. I've had them forever, so I can't remember if they were 3m safety glasses, but they look awfully similar....

Jesus, I didn't realize this was a complicated question :) I own a pair of these and just ordered a second for my wife. They wrap around and do now allow any light in. Professional gear for professional use and reasonably priced at $13.80:

since we work directly under these lights, I feel that goggles work best because light is beaming in constantly through the top and sides of sunglasses, even wrap around ones.
