Fuckin ph meters

They seem to be junk if you ask me. I really do not understand the mixed reviews, they either work 9r they dont, and so far I have yet to find a reliable one. Using distilled water and my meter want calibrate the 9.18 solution. I put it in the 6.86 solution first, wait a bit and hold cal, it flashes 6.86, ok good. Take it out, clean with distilled water, stick it in the 4.0 solution, wait a bit and then hit cal again, it flashes 4.0, ok this is good. Clean the meter once again, stick it in 9.18 solution, give it a bit, hit cal, and it flashes 6.86, wtf. Have been doing this for like an hour. Idk I'm about to just buy ph strips and a tds meter. I found the tds part to be pretty accurate, the ph meter part seems to be a joke.

I have been using this one for 4 years now and it has always been accurate. I've calibrated it maybe 4 times.

I made the switch to strips and I haven’t looked back. Reliable and never needs calibrating.

I saw that the expensive ones were off as well, exactly why I didn't buy them. Plus I'm not spending 100-200 for a meter. Idk I had two so far now, and both had issues. Now the first I didn't use distilled water, but hell this guy is off and I did everything it said to do. If I cant get this guy to work, im sending this guy back and getting the strips. I will get a tds meter though, they actually don't seem to be to problematic it seems

I went thru 2 cheap ones, spent $75 on better quality and its good.

My Apera is dead nuts accurate every time. I calibrate it about once a month. If you don't want to spend the money for a good Apera or Bluelabs I would just stick to strips or drops. They aren't as precise, but they won't deceive you like the crappy cheap meters will.

How can I raise my runoff ppm. My plant was reading at 350ppm. That sounds low for flowering, i thought it was supposed to be around 600ppm. After giver her two gallons of nutes with water, I got her up to 390ppm run off.
