6 Plants Week 2 - possible PM.

I think I've been over fertilizing.

Back on November 28th I started some clones w/Clonex only. Once root buds started to show after a week or so.... I began to fertilize.

As a cost savings I was dumping extra fertilizer solution w/EC 1.5 mixed for the big plants, into the cloner. (this cloner holds slightly more than 1 gallon). Everything was fine for the first week. This would of put the clones into week 2 from cuttings. Then I dumped the solution and started giving EC 1.5. The clones started to turn yellow and looked like they were dying.

As an impulse and result of the yellowing I upped the nutes to EC 1.5 w/all the additives: Cal-Mag+, Epsom salts, Tarantula. The clones got worse and were pretty much dead. With nothing left to lose and after posting this thread I throttled EC down to .5 for the cloner. .5 is only 1ml of Advanced G,M,B and nothing else.

The clones made it back from the brink! They look like they are thriving in the cloner. They are about 2 weeks into the new .5 regiment.

Received the PH meter along with an envelop of pH 7.01 solution today. I watered yesterday so nothing needs PH'ing.

Will learn how to use. Any tips on the Milwaukee pH600?

Tomorrow is Week 4 from the flip to 12/12. I've been holding steady with only G,M,B @ EC .5. The tops look like they are improving

To explore "light burn" I moved two plants to the ends of the tent and left two sorta in the middle, almost under the light. The 4th pic shows one side of the tent. I separated the plants like this about two weeks ago. Note: this is after removing the second 1000W HPS from the tent.

The first and second pic are of the two plants f urthest from the light, the third is almost under the light. I think there is light burn on the plant nearest the light because the tops aren't as dark green as the side plants.

I don't want light burn but evidence is pointing that way. I measured the glass on the fixture and it's about 21"x21". To prevent light burn I covered a 2" strip directly under the bulb with aluminum foil. Pic five as shown, I took the pic at an angle so it looks weird. This covered 10% of the glass but shades the plants from the direct, most intense light.

Last two pics for clarification.

These turned 5 weeks from the flip this past Saturday.

Look at the tiny buds.

The runoff EC is still over 2. I've been giving them 1ml AN B,G,M @ EC .5. Time before last I watered with plain water. This last time I watered I gave them 1ml each of Cal-Mag+, Big Bud and Bud Candy @ EC .5.

I think I'm just burning lights.

I left the HPS on because I'm only showing size.

I've been doing good deeds in hopes of raising my Karma Kredit for the next try.

Now I know what to look for and how to handle bugs. I removed that strip of foil off the light too.

Thoughts on picking these buds? They turned eight weeks this past Saturday.

The buds are small but not fluffy at all. They're actually kinda hard when squeezed. I'm hopeful for the next grow.
i am picking mine tomorrow night how did yours turn out are they drying now?

Nice.

Mine are still in the 12/12 tent. Tomorrow completes week nine and I'll post pics.

I had problems - overertilizing, bugs and PM - with this crop but glad I followed-though. I crumpled mosquito dunks on a couple of other plants, hopefully those take care of the flying fungus gnats. Learn as we go.

How did your plants turn out? Are they professional looking buds?

You crushed me on this grow, for sure. My buds are kind of dense but small.

I decided to let them go one more week, 'til next Saturday. That'll be 10 weeks from the flip. The plants are still sucking water big time and don't look 100% ready.

I've got 8 more plants for the tent. Four looked ready today so they were launched. About 18" tall and dark green.

The four others, about 12" tall, light green and just not so ready. I'll give them another week in 16/8. I think these either needed ferts or I over watered them.

Good work on yours!

I didn't get anything but a bunch of seeds. Another wasted crop.

My current crop is starting to die now too. I think it's the fourth week in to flower. The thing that sucks is I tried selling a light on CL. I've got it listed about 25% of the Amazoin price and no takers. Used equipment isn't worth much I'm finding out.
