What do you mean by alternating leaves? Is that an indication of maturity and therefore the plants readiness to flower? (I know flowering is initiated with a 12/12 light cycle but someone said floweing seeded plantstoo early results in reduced yields/unit space)

It doesn't start flowering until it has 12/12 lighting or close to it. You can flower a plant at 2 inches or 5 feet.

Go back and read the question. Then try to answer it without acting like some super intelligent weed guru.
