Does anyone have a good way to clean a bong?

Mine had a hair line crack where the bowl tube attached to the main body. It was like that for a year. Never leaked or got bigger. Until I dropped it. The crack happened when in tipped over on a marble table. I was super careful after that... Until the drop. I think I paid $130 for it.

Damn. That's about how much I paid for said piece. I've had the replacement ever since. No breaks yet thankfully. My condolences to your bong.

You see videos of people bouncing glass pipes off concrete. Not the China made cheapos at the gas station. Real deal stuff. The scientific glass, you'd figure would be a bit tough. Nope.

As I sit surrounded by 3 bongs, 5 pipes, a steam roller, and a home made chamber pipe... what's next? I haven't gotten into concentrates, I don't want to destroy my tolerance.

I cycle between tincture/oil capsules and combusting over every few weeks to keep my tolerance on its toes. And I swear every time I go back to smoking again I itch to go to the glass shop. Shouldn't live so close to one, temptation is real.

I try to clean my bong daily. I get the best tasting hits out of my bong. A good brush and hot water ( and a quality ash catcher, they arent all the same) is all you need if you make it a habit. I cant smoke out of dirty brown glass like that

Same, I empty my water every time I smoke, and I everclear the piece at least once a week, usually twice. I am paranoid a bit since lung disease isn't unheard of in my family.
But it's easier to just buy a new one. No shaking, or wasting good everclear...

I've got a grav labs. It was $50 which was more than the bong itself lol. But well worth it. It's taller than the one in the pic you posted, and I hardly get any ash in the bong using it. I've had the shorter ones like yours, and I've noticed with this grav labs one, it's way more efficient. Must be because the stem is further away from the catcher water.
