There is nothing about calmag in that chart bro...
Do you even read what I'm writing?

Yeah this chart is just the base lineThere is nothing about calmag in that chart bro...

I will use the Lucas dilute one.. would that be good at this stage? Or should I go full strength?
Try in between dilute and fullI will use the Lucas dilute one.. would that be good at this stage? Or should I go full strength?
And is that ml per gallon or liter?
Ok i will do this.Try in between dilute and full
Add 2.5ml/gallon CALiMAGic, mix well, 6.5ml / gallon micro, mix well, 13 ml/gallon bloom, mix well, and your hydroguard at full strength. and then PH to 5.9
You can maybe push 3 in a 6.5x5.5Ok i will do this.
Also about the light, i thought the more light you use, the better and more the yield, now i know heat also plays a role, but only one 600w light sounds a bit disappointing as I was expecting at some point to get 2 pounds from this space..
my question is if i use those air cooled hoods and exhaust through the light, would I be able to use more lights to get the desired yield?
Also i have a tent in this small room but I'm thinking about using the all room next time, it would be 2m 1.7m or about 6.5 x 5.5 feet.
Would I be able to use 3x 600w with air cooled hoods in that room?
Ok bro, thank you for helping so much, really! You can maybe push 3 in a 6.5x5.5
You can maybe push 2 600w in the 4x4
But to ACTUALLY use that much light you will need CO2 enrichment. Otherwise its a waste of electricity.
If you are a good grower, you should be able to pull a pound out of the 4x4 with one 600w
Co2 only will help though if you have a sealed room, temps/ RH optimized, and nutrients optimized.Ok bro, thank you for helping so much, really!
i will definitely look into CO2 enrichment as I don't know anything about it
Tomorrow I will change the res again and i will post pictures in a couple of days
Citric acid should never be used in hydro, it's not stable enough. Biobizz is organic and contains citric acid. Like my first posting you need to set your head straight regarding hydro and how to operate a system properly.Ok i will just change the reservoir and feed at 30% strenght with calmag..
I have a question though should I feed a strong calmag solution?( I'm using RO water) or should I also take it easy with the calmag? I'm using biobizz calmag and 1.4 would be for deficiency correction and 1 for prevention... I'm not sure how much to give
Well in the site it said it works for hydroponics, so I thought it was good to go.. the problem is, that's the only thing I have available now, i could order it online but it will take some time prob more than a week with this corona situation.. and then I'm afraid it will be too late... Can't i just use the biobizz for the remaining weeks?Citric acid should never be used in hydro, it's not stable enough. Biobizz is organic and contains citric acid. You can't run organics in hydro without a chiller, even with a chiller it's not recommended. Citric acid will become alkaline in a hydro reservoir causing heavy pH swings.
Using organics in hydro goes against everything that's superior about it. You remove all variables you have in soil like bacteria culture, organic acids and run a complete mineral plant food that's readily available in solution. The minerals should buffer and stabilize pH. That's basically how hydroponics works.
Yes I've been feeding low dose N until now( end of week 7) i was just in my grow tent right now and the weed smells a bit grassy... Is it normal or is it because of the Nitrogen? If so, can it recover the smell? It's weird because 2 weeks ago it was smelling very narcoticThe GH is all you need for good weed. Your plants don't look that bad. I have been experimenting with cutting nitrogen and my Diesel plants seem to have the biggest buds ever this time around with even less N. I know for a fact too much N makes my buds a lot smaller. I give them a good dose of N in week 1-3 of flower then start cutting back.
Hey man, just an advice, if you are short on money for weed or for your grow, hydroponics to my knowledge is a very expensive way to grow, you should switch out if you can to organics, no need for ph, no need for tds or ec meters, just an initial investment in the soil mix and water with tap water all the way through the grow.(letting the tap water sit for 24 hours so the chloride can evaporate)I live in Germany but I'm in south europe for a year and i can't even order things from Amazon where I'm at... And because of corona I'm without a job a cannot even get out the house... I have absolutely no money for weed or for my grow...
Yes next grow I'm definitely going organic. I have seen beautiful plants being grown organic and people say it tastes better, so after this grow i want to try itHey man, just an advice, if you are short on money for weed or for your grow, hydroponics to my knowledge is a very expensive way to grow, you should switch out if you can to organics, no need for ph, no need for tds or ec meters, just an initial investment in the soil mix and water with tap water all the way through the grow.(letting the tap water sit for 24 hours so the chloride can evaporate)
Hum I will read more about it, but I think for the next time i will just try to keep everything as simple as possibleI haven't used Biobizz, but I think it would work. If you want to use Biobizz and ewc I would add perlite to that, and buy a general purpose fertilizer to keep it simple and cheap like Down to earth rose and flower.
I did myself a very simple mix that so far has done great, just pro mix( that I had and wanted to reuse), compost, earthworm castings, perlite and some amendments (bone meal, fish meal, leonardite and a general purpose fertilizer called zeofert) and I left sitting my mix somewhat moist for around two months. It only cost me around 50 american dollars, I'll probably need to top dress the general purpose fertilizer and earthworm castings when I switch to flower, but aside from that only water.
As long as you have an mix with (texture/nutrients/microorganisms) you can grow. The texture in this case is provided by peat moss spraghum and perlite, the microorganisms and nutrients provided by ewc, and amendments.
It's an initial investment, then you can reuse the soil and it will get better over time.
Edit: I did my soil mix like that because I had promix already and wanted to reuse it. If I were to start from zero I would buy something like FFOF soil since it has a lot of great amendments already in it like (fish emulsion, oyster shell, fish meal, crab meal, shrimp meal, kelp, etc)
The room outside the tent is well ventilated all day.. so I think yes, well now yes but i spent most of the grow with heat problems from toommuch light..The white hairs look like they are fox tailing to me, that may be caused form heat stress or some strains tend to fox tail easier than others.
Do you have proper ventilation in there? Not sure what the brown tops are. We need someone with more experience.
