That sounds about right, I've an amateur so grain of salt but plain watering as the last week or two 'flush' is usually recommended. Idk how people don't notice the difference, could be drying/curing but all my early unflushed bud was hella harsh compared to after. Feels like a dry cough that stays in your lungs for longer, than flushed smoke where you finish coughing IMOThanks for the advise, first time so I'm a little anxious. One more question, when I said flush, I was just going to give her plain water when needed for the last week or two, no flush products added. I used Fox Farm trio, I think they have salt in them. Am I on the right track, or should I not worry about it and just wait until its ready, then give it few days of darkness and no water, then choo
Some of the pistils turned orange a while ago, maybe a month and a half ago. It was chugging along as planned until the mishap. I suspect the mishap put me behind schedule about a month or so. I deleted all of my previous pictures so I can't go back and look at exactly what week of flower that I saw my first orange pistils. If I had to guess I'd say week 4 or 5ish of flower. Your mishap of 10 days or so may have put you back 3 weeks or so as well. Once I fixed my mishap it seemed like there was no change at all for about a month, then I started to see the progress that I was expectingHi Kurt,
Looks great, did similar myself and just approaching week 7 with a mess up for about 10 days in week 3. Mine seem to be coming back , nice and dusty, but I think I’ve slowed progress down a good bit, looks like I may hang on for a few more weeks. Can I ask, did the pistils change to amber colour just recently or when??
Keep it lit!!

Anyway you're doing great, she looks amazing, proceed as you planned to!
Interesting article. A guy I know doesn't flush at all either, perhaps it is a waste of time and effort. I definitely am not doing a flush the way some say it should be. Like running 15 gallons of water through at on time. I was just gonna water as needed like I have been, just with no nutrients. But if it doesn't help make a better end product, I can see the plant benefit by receiving nutrients those last 2 weeks instead of just plain ph'd water. Perhaps even put on a little more weight. Have you tried both ways, and have you seen extra weight put on by continuing with nutrient schedule all the way to harvest?Bro-science is for grass city
There is no proof of flushing aiding cure or taste
Plenty of proof out there https://hightimes.com/grow/new-research-shows-flushing-plants-before-harvest-may-be-unnecessary/
So far thats all I have done, but I cut the nutes down to 1/3. I use R.O. water, and fox farm trio, so I was giving her 1 tsp cal-mag, 1.5tsps tiger bloom, and 1.5tsps big bloom per gallon up until the last feeding this past Sunday, I eliminated grow big when i went to 12/12. This past Sunday I only gave her .5tsps cal-mag, and .5tsps big bloom, and eliminated the big bloom all together. Does this sound ok, and I should continue the the 1/3 nutes all the way until harvest? Then no water or nutes for the last 2-3 days in total darkness? No Flush. Cut food in half last 2 weeks, but do not starve them.
I found zero benefit in ending feedingInteresting article. A guy I know doesn't flush at all either, perhaps it is a waste of time and effort. Thanks, just to make sure I'm following, are you saying to keep giving nitrogen, or to eliminate nitrogen but keep feeding otherwise?I found zero benefit in ending feeding
Nitrogen but still feeding
Late in flower a bit of Calmag provides more than enough NThanks, just to make sure I'm following, are you saying to keep giving nitrogen, or to eliminate nitrogen but keep feeding otherwise?
Thanks for the advise/info. I'll continue to give nutes, including cal-mag, just in a lower dose up until chop.Late in flower a bit of Calmag provides more than enough N
