Purple Sweet Tooth?

Well earlier today after work i got a phone call from a old friend of mine, asking me if i wanted too chill for a few and burn up. I agree and soon enough am sitting on his couch with a Keystone. he brings out this bag of weed, soon as he enters the room i can smell it. He tells me it is Sweet Tooth. But it was over 50% purple... ive never seen purple sweet tooth before... was he incorrect on what it was? or is there such a thing as purple sweet tooth?

The only purple weed I know of is purple haze.

If it was grown outdoors, or even indoors, low temps towards the end of flowering can easily give any bud a purple hue. Around here people will throw bud in the freezer just after they harvest it to make it turn purple. Thus turning some "bammer" into some purps!

Or it could be crossed with a purple strain.

Ya man it can be the temps i grow outdoors in washington it turns everything purple. People get suprised when you pull out osme like northern lights and it is strait purple. It just makes people want to pay more always a good thing.
