That looks beautiful, i hope mine turn out a bit like yours

My foxtails are very leafy though

Also, how long do you think I still have to wait to harvest?
It's not mine, I just googled it xD
I'm not sure, but my guess is a month. Once the hairs have turned color and buds have swollen, check for trichomes.

Hey guys,

This is my first grow. I'm doing a DWC grow and i am on week 7 and would like some feedback.

Strain: delicious seeds Cotton Candy Kush

light: 2x 600HPS and 1x 250 HID

Grow tent is 150cm x 150cm

I am also using RO water

Nutes: general hydroponics 3 part(soft water) and bloom booster. I also used seaweed and fulvic acids during veg.

Ph: allways between 5.7 and 6.2

i can't tell about temperature and humidity because I did not have much money to start this grow and didn't buy a thermometer.

I think I overfed the plants at about week 5, but as soon as I noticed it i changed my reservoir and gave them nutes at 1/4 strenght for 2 days and then added back nutes at 75% strenght.

I also think it has been too hot inside the tent because the plants don't look that good ( some leaves are curling down, and i have brown spots on leaves) maybe the light was too close..?!

I know I did ( or I'm still doing) something wrong, i just cannot identify where the problem is...

If anything is missing just let me know

Below are some pictures:
they look fine give them a couple weeks dont get nervous and dont judge your plants by others not all are equal by the skinny leaves it looks sativa dominant and will take a little longer i have the same lighting 2 600 hps that is plenty good figure half gram a watt thats still like 20 ounces

Yes I will just let it ride till the end :D

Let's see what I get...

I also have an original amnesia in the same bucket as the cotton candy, this was a very stupid idea because O.A can't take much nutrients and the cotton candy likes more nutes.. so I burned this plant, she also grew very tall into the light and now the plant is looking totally like shit, some bottom Branches look ok though..

I also took clones from the cotton candy in veg, and put them in coco coir.. this are my best looking plants... They were actually meant to be mother plants but unfortunately this is the last grow i can do in this house, so I just put them in my flowering tent 5 weeks ago ( 3 weeks after the DWC bucket).. i started feeding Lucas formula 1 week ago, so let's see if they turn out good..

I know I have too much going on.. I think I was just curious and wanted to do everything at once for the first time.. next time I will just make things simple..

Bellow are some pictures of the Original Amnesia and the ones in Coco:

The one at week 8 look like they still have a while to go, but that what people say about sativa's in general, that they take longer to finish.
Shit, i was just now in my tent and i noticed in a corner of the tent all the buds are getting mold?

I don't know what to do..

Should I cut out all the branches with mold? I'm afraid it will spread to the rest of the plant..

In that corner the plants were also too crowded, falling on top of each other, im guessing that's what caused the mold

Here are some pictures:

Oh man that's terrible, happened to me as well last grow, get rid of the mold. Take out what ever has mold in it. You should check the rest of the plants by opening the buds a little.

I did cut all the branches with mold on them..

It was 6-7 branches, i noticed not the all plant had mold, only some spots.. i cutted all the stems with mold out, do you guys think I could try and smoke the rest? Or should I throw the whole stem away?

Not sure man, you are going to have to open them, maybe when you harvest and see if they are healthy buds.
@osowhom is recommending some kind of bud wash with H2O2, I don't know about this, but sounds like something you could try. When I had mold I ended up throwing the whole plant away (most of it was in bad condition), but I didn't knew about this bud wash thing, and I also had another plant that yielded just fine for me so that's what I did.

Do you have a loupe? If I can see mycelium with a loupe, I discard the bud. If there's no mycelium visible with a good loupe, I consider it safe. The mycelium will look like very fine filaments when you pry the bud apart.

If there are plants which are not affected by mold, I'd dry them separately. The ones which have been affected by mold while growing are more likely to go moldy during the drying and curing process, so you want to process them separately with extra care and attention.

If you try any sort of bud wash or water curing of moldy buds, be aware that there are polar and non-polar mycotoxins. I'm not aware of a practical way to remove both without wrecking the weed.

Good luck with the rest of your harvest, I know it's a downer when things don't go to plan. Keep growing and learning and you'll produce great weed. You mentioned that you're thinking about organic soil for the next grow, and personally this is what I use. It has its own pitfalls, but in general I've found it to be relatively low effort and fault-tolerant. One thing to be aware of is that organic soil needs a larger container volume than hydro for the same yield.
