MEGA CROP and our fertilizer products are Vegan fertilizers, and Organic compatible but do not official Organic (OMRI) certification. Veganfertilizers have the exact same standards as Organic fertilizers as far as toxins, heavy metals, and other contaminants and pollutants. Our products are compatible with organic growing methods because they benefit the soil conditions and living microbes, do not contain any pesticides and do not harm soil or ecosystems.

“Organic” fertilizers refers to a certification done by the private company OMRI, which will give OMRI Listed® certification once paid the appropriate fees ($$) and requirements are met.

Vegan fertilizers have several advantages over Organic fertilizers.

  • Not sourced from animals, so no risk of antibiotics, antiobiotic resistant bacteria, pharmaceuticals, hormones or pathogens that are associated with animal based fertilizers
  • Far more water soluble and available to the plants, for better absorption, quicker and complete uptake by the plants
  • Lower environmental impact
  • Not supporting the animal agriculture industry which involved cruelty

It's a popular product, it's nowhere near organic if you look at the label-it's all nutrient salts, but it also has a bunch of popular additives thrown in. I find it hilarious that they're advertising themselves as vegan...I mean, aren't all fertilizer salts vegan? Honestly, I think you'd do better with megacrop than with Gaia Green....I wouldn't use them together, a new grower would likely overdose his plants doing that.

I grow in peat base soil and use Megacrop and Bud explosion. For the quality and ease of use it can’t be beat, just my personal opinionView attachment 4827103 these are two chocolate mint og autos grown under Mars hydro ts600 with MC topping out at 4 gpg and BE
Any secret recipe or amounts u can share. Or do u follow feedchart amount. And using autos do u use less ?

Idk, do some research. If it was organic they would market it as such, which they don't. I grow organic and have a little pail of mega crop. :Unfortunately, no ingredient list is included.
This is for version 2 that I won a couple years ago in a promotion here. Got 2kg of the MC and 1kg each of the Green Terra Carbo pure dextrose, Big Up, (0-52-34) PK booster and Rock Steady, (0-0-62).

This stuff absorbs water and turns into a gooey brown mess if exposed to air. Really vegs plants nicely but more hassle than just using my AN or Remo 3-part stuff.

Pretty much what they prescribe, for photos. With autos you have to dial it down a little. First time with an auto I had them up to 6 gram per gallon. They didn’t like it. Dropped it down to 4.5gpg and they did way better

I have the newest one part version now. No gross brown clumping at all but the white balls in it take a few minutes to dissolve. Unless I am asked to run another nute system for testing, I’ll stick with Megacrop.

Use warm to medium hot water to dissolve about 1/2 gal then when dissolved use cold to bring temp down. There will still be a few flakes floating around when dissolving is done.

I like the MC and still have most of it left but even keeping the bag sealed tight the white balls were what was soaking up the moisture. Some I took out and ground up turned to brown mush when kept in one of those Ziploc sandwich containers. Should still work just a well and is handy for mixing up a small batch of nutes.

A lot of organic zealots equate mineral salts used in hydro nutes with pesticides and other noxious chemicals. Lack of education is all that is most of the time but sometimes it's just blind zealotry and lack of working brain cells.

The bio-herd in organic soils digests the organic matter to break it down and turn it into the exact same mineral salts that all plants need to grow and thrive but but if comes in a bottle it's somehow toxic and gonna kill ya. lol

My latest favorite..... Recipe 420 RECHARGE fertilizer 6-8-4

Labeled Organic and has good ammended mineral mix . I took all my Megacrop and threw it out ( donation bin at hydro shop ).
I use their Recipe 420 soil ( good shit ) for my layered mixes. Plants haven’t been greener.

Actually, according to the companies FAQ, the product is vegan and organic compatible but not omri certified. Sounds like it's not organic but wont harm an organic grow.

Quite the all knowing tone when in fact, you're not.
