Help with overcrowded and stretchy autos with no room left.

Week 8 of my two autos. Been trying to do mild lst to lower the tallest buds but this is getting out of control and I’ve run out of room. Not sure what to do now aside from keep on bending the taller stems over.

I also have some weird nute deficiency so I did a complete water change today.

28”x28”x60” marshydro tent, mars ts1000 led at 100%, rdwc, res at 65-68, 78F in tent and 50rh. Nutes at 900ppm/1.8ec using distilled water and gh flora nutes at 1/0.5/1.5 ratio with 4ml/gal calmag, 1ml/gal 34% H2O2 added every 3 days. 5.9 pH. 2 fans under and above canopy with filtered air blown in and hepa filter inside tent providing additional airflow, exhaust fan controlled to keep rh under 50. Never had a root issue, no bugs.

8 weeks auto and is barely in flower? Must be a sativa dom hybrid. Sorry but next time read on the breeder's site about the height of the strain... I have some seeds that reach 150cm but there's no way I will grow them in my tiny 160cm tent :)
Your only hope is supercropping, as @HydroKid239 said.

Strain info below. The tallest buds are only a few inches from the light but off to the side. The bulk of the taller buds are about 12" but there's an "indent" in the canopy where they're about 18". This light seems too small. Feels like the branches on the edges are stretching.

First grow. :shrug:

Strawberry Pie, 85% indica, 8-9wks to flower, and 24-39" (60-100cm) is what's reported. My tent is 62"/160cm and I've done a decent amount of LST but it seems like both plants are stretching a bit. I may need to move my fan and filter outside the tent and hang my lights at the very top.

Supercropping during flower? isn't that too much stress? I guess I'll look into it if my lst doesn't work. They're gonna look like a cannabis bonsai.

I'm pretty hesitant about supercropping right now, since I've never done it and don't want to fck up too much more. I'll stick to some "bonsai" LST for now. I can rotate the pot for some more room to work with and bend the taller stems in an "S" to shorten the height. I'll see how that works out.

Can I lower the light cycle time for a few days to help curb growth and then go back to 20/4 to better develop the buds?

I'm not the best person to ask buddy I grow photos, I've read stuff about auto's over the years but never actually grown them, maybe @HydroKid239 would be able to advise you better.

Ummm ... no way an auto. Should have at least sexxed out around Day 35 / 40 from germ.

You will have to treat that heavy sativa as a regular.

Good news - you can supercrop

Bad News - it will take a long time to flower completely.... heavy sativas can run 15 weeks ( + or - ) ..... of ACTUAL FLOWER. Not from germ.

Think Landrace type of plant. I ran a malawi gold that took 17 weeks......

Also .... “ seed banks “ always fuck up id and packing sometimes so getting a regular instead of auto can happen. They even send wrong strains.

Well, it's been under 20/4 light its entire life since sprouting and it's definitely in flower without switching light schedules. I saw some other grow diaries with the same strain and they seem to grow similarly w/o LST. I was just hoping my LST would shorten it a bit but this one seems to be stretching taller than normal.

Afaik, the seeds I got were packaged by the breeder. I guess I'll just see how this plays out. Worst case if my "S" lst doesn't work, I can just bend it over like a large curved bow. LOL

Plants will sex out to indicate in about 8 weeks anyways - so im still thinking they are regs. Nothing about that strain looks like ruderalis was involved.

Even flowering under a 20hr light schedule? Breeder says 90-100cm height which is where these are at now, but since I LST'd a bit, I was expecting them to be a good 6" shorter or so. hmmm. I guess we'll see... First time grow. Next time, I might just go get a larger tent.

No don't worry. Maybe this strain breed was unstable and your seed had a different height phenotype than the rest of its brother-seeds.

If it’s not on the original breeder pack then it is a mystery

Also ts 1000 is only 150 watt it should be practically touching the top of your plant once in veg. Also get bigger light or add a few cfls
