So I have been using perlite in my medium, and I was wondering if anybody has used perlite before or clay pebbles, if so, is they one they found better?
damn you!!!! beat me to it. lolWhat is your medium?
Perlite is in my medium, I use cocowhat is your medium? or did you mean perlite is your medium?
Lol follow below mate and chip in if you can loldamn you!!!! beat me to it. lol
Then Coco is my medium yes and perlite is mixed in, lolLol.
Then coco is your medium......not perlite.
Most people use perlite for aeration in both coco, peat moss, or soil.
Is there any that will do a better job? Then Coco is my medium yes and perlite is mixed in, lol
What are your percentages of coco and perlite? Then Coco is my medium yes and perlite is mixed in, lol
Well when I first started I wasn't sure, so I looked it up, and because I use 15l pots, it said I should put about 3 to 4 litres in, so that's what I went withWhat are your percentages of coco and perlite?
No I wouldn't add clay pebbles to it mate, it's more for my next grow that's all, I didn't know if they was any bettercoco/perlite is your medium. I would not add clay pebbles to that. No advantage, only less area in the container for roots.
It's a completely different system. With clay pebbles you would need to have very frequent waterings, and I believe a slightly lower ph. You would likely want to have a recirculating system, as opposed to drain to waste with coco/perlite. What would be the reason to switch? coco/perlite is a proven grow medium to produce quality buds in abundance. No I wouldn't add clay pebbles to it mate, it's more for my next grow that's all, I didn't know if they was any better
I would only want to change mate if there one was better, I'm still new to it, so thought I would ask if there was a better one that I could use next time that will work just as well as the perliteIt's a completely different system. he's asking if pebbles are a better medium than coco/perlite, not all three together.I can't see what clay pebbles bring to the table with coco?
I understand them in a net pot etc but as a mixer for coco?
I don't think I would say one is better or worse, just different. They are different styles which need different setups and schedules. If your coco/perlits system works, then coing to clay pebbles won't improve anything. If coco/perlite isn't working for you, you should investigate why.I would only want to change mate if there one was better, I'm still new to it, so thought I would ask if there was a better one that I could use next time that will work just as well as the perlite
did you like growing in coco?No I wouldn't add clay pebbles to it mate, it's more for my next grow that's all, I didn't know if they was any better
