40% off right now ($100 off)Depends on which "1500" you're looking at. The XS1500 is decent, but I'd stay clear of the P1500.

I dream of those lights, he made cobs first guess he isn't selling them anymore.Oh wow. It was under $900 USD after shipping for the pro version for me.
Thanks for the heads up, no worries. $78 is hard to beat, and its just for my clone/ early veg tent.Yep, they use the less efficient Samsung LM281B+ diodes I was referring to, which means that you get 25% less light for the same power as compared to Samsung LM301 diodes.

Maybe in the short run, but using those light would cost a lot more in power consumption over the course of a year.Good price!
Nice. That's a good buy for a small decent light.40% off right now ($100)
I wouldn't suggest that light. In fact pretty much any LED light which doesn't tell you which diodes they use, and is cooled with internal fans is a big red flag for me.Parfactworks ra2000 for a 2x2, under 200 which isn't bad, 4 of them under 800 is not bad price for a 4x4. Migro is better.
Damn, missed the lightning deal.40% off right now ($100 off)
I like the 660, it does seem to do much moreI'm glad this thread popped up. I have a friend trying to put together a a 2x4 on a shoe string budget. With the exception of a Hortibloom cob bar I purchased a few years back, any pre-built fixture I've purchased has been from Timber or HLG.
This morning I went down the rabbit hole of cheap panels and was a bit overwhelmed.
Anyway, any suggestions on a pair of panels(301b is fine, doesn't have to be h) in the 120 to 150 watt range? Looking for something dirty cheap. I found these on my search and was wondering if anybody had any input.

And they are obviously using cheap(epistar?) red diodes, so if my buddy does decide to grab them, he should just get the straight 3000k, instead of the 3500 + 660? More efficient, right?
Any other links or suggestions for lighting are welcome. Thanks in advance.

I get that, but the Epistars are supposed to decrease efficiency a bit. Crees and Osrams are better. Which red diodes does HLG use? Anybody know?I like the 660, it does seem to do much more
What kind of cobs? Random no names, or stuff like Citi or Cree? Were they being pushed by a Meanwell?I bought a cob light from that company a few years ago, was complete shit, every week I lost a cob
Not sure but osram would be my guess.I get that, but the Epistars are supposed to decrease efficiency a bit. Crees and Osrams are better. Which red diodes does HLG use? Anybody know?
Oh, and Dan if you read this, I want that 60 watt single 048 you have for sale, but I'm gonna lowball you a bit. Get ready for it, son!
No from crxsunny, the link you left. What kind of cobs? Random no names, or stuff like Citi or Cree? Were they being pushed by a Meanwell?
Yeah, but many companies offer different cobs. Hortibloom, for example, you can pick Citizen or Cree, while some of the cheap companies just offer up cheap, no name cobs.No from crxsunny, the link you left.
I was just commenting on the board, one in link. Company no good imo. How is the hotibloom what wattage?Yeah, but many companies offer different cobs. Hortibloom, for example, you can pick Citizen or Cree, while some of the cheap companies just offer up cheap, no name cobs.
That's why I was asking. My Hortibloom equipped with Citis is still going strong.
